Twelve Hour Shifts. On occasions when employees are required to work a twelve-hour shift or longer, the shift shall include a paid lunch period.

Twelve Hour Shifts. Employees shall be entitled, subject to exigencies of patient care and/or departmental requirements, to rest periods during the shift of a total of forty-five (45) minutes.

Twelve Hour Shifts. 1) Employees on twelve-hour shifts will be paid at straight time for the first eighty (80) hours in their scheduled two (2) week shift. 2) Additional scheduled hours will be paid at time and one half (1½x) the employeesregular hourly rate. 3) Employees working shifts on a twenty-four (24) hour continuous operation shall receive a twenty (20) minute paid lunch break during their normal work day and four (4) paid breaks each of fifteen (15) minutes duration. Two (2) breaks will occur before lunch and two (2) breaks will occur after lunch.
Twelve Hour Shifts. A nurse who works a twelve (12) hour shift that begins no earlier than 0700 and no later than 0900 shall receive no evening or night shift differential, except that a nurse who works two (2) or more hours beyond the scheduled shift shall be paid an evening shift differential of two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) per hour for all hours worked beyond the scheduled shift. In any arrangement of working hours where the working hours are to exceed eight on any shift, the arrangement of hours will be subject to agreement between the employer and the majority of employees concerned. 25.10.2.
