Work Performed During Regular Business Hours. ‌ An employee ordered to work by the Fire Chief, or designee in response to a locally declared, State declared, or federally declared disaster will be compensated at his or her regular rate of pay for every hour worked during regular business hours, except where an employee has qualified for overtime under Section 7.1 above. If an employee is required to work under this section on days which also constitute a District recognized holiday, he or she will receive an additional hour of pay at his or her regular rate of pay for every hour worked during regular business hours on the holiday.
