Common use of Work Schedule and Calendar Clause in Contracts

Work Schedule and Calendar. The Appointing Authority shall post a written work schedule reflecting the normal hours of work and days of work in each institution after consultation with Association representatives and consideration of their desires. Proposed changes in the established schedule of work hours or days shall first be discussed with Association representatives. Any changes in work schedules or calendar shall be preceded by a fourteen (14) calendar day written notice to the affected employees. In emergency situations, as determined by the Appointing Authority, the Appointing Authority shall comply with the provisions of this Section insofar as reasonably possible.
