Work Week Group E or SE Employees. When a permanent full-time employee is required to work on an observed holiday such employee shall receive up to eight (8) hours of holiday credit. Employees who are required to work one of the following premium holidays (January 1, last Monday in May, July 4th, first Monday in September, Thanksgiving Day and December 25th) shall receive up to eight (8) hours of holiday credit and four (4) hours of informal time off. If an observed holiday falls on an employee’s normal day off, and the employee does not work, the employees shall receive no more than eight (8) hours of holiday credit.
