Workability. The asphalt mixture must have uniform softness and be in such condition at the time of delivery at destination that it can be handled satisfactorily without heating when the temperature is 40°F. and above and will not xxxxxx when stored outside in a stockpile. The mixture shall be capable of being stockpiled for not less than two (2) weeks, and when taken from a stockpile, shall be capable of being shoveled, raked, spread and compacted. Sampling and testing of the delivered product is up to the discretion of the RME in the event the material does not appear to be uniformly coated with asphalt binder or is non-workable. Maintenance personnel may randomly obtain one sample from each lot of material. A lot will be the material delivered. The sample will be quartered into 2 separate samples weighing between 5-10 pounds each. One sample will be submitted to the Office of Materials and Research in Columbia for testing. The other sample will be retained as a check sample. When the first sample is out of the master range and/or tolerance for residual asphalt content the check sample will be submitted for testing. When both samples fail on gradation and/or residual asphalt content there shall be a 10% reduction in unit bid price for that lot. In the event that the material is found to be non-workable, the RME must contact the supplier and have the mixture replaced by the supplier as the supplier’s expense within 30 days of receipt of the material
Workability. Workability of concrete should be checked at frequent intervals. It shall be checked at frequent intervals by approved tests such as slump tests, compacting factor tests etc. in accordance with IS 1199. If required the same shall be controlled by adjusting the dosage of the admixtures if permitted by the Engineer-In-Charge. • The range of slumps for various types of work shall generally be as follows subject to approval by the Engineer-In-Charge unless stated otherwise. Slump required for workability shall be achieved, if necessary by using approved super plasticizer without any extra cost. The diameter of the needle shall be determined based on the density and the spacing of reinforcement bars and thickness of the sections. For trieme concrete, vibrators are not required to be used and clause 7.1.2 of IS : 456 - 2000 shall be followed in such case.

  • Grievability Denial of a petition for reinstatement is grievable. The grievance may not be based on information other than that shared with the Employer at the time of the petition for reinstatement.

  • Quality All products will be new and unused. All products provided by the Contractor must meet all federal, state, and local standards for quality and safety requirements. Products not meeting the requirements of this section will be deemed unacceptable and returned to the Contractor for credit at no charge to the State.

  • Compatibility 1. Any unresolved issue arising from a mutual agreement procedure case otherwise within the scope of the arbitration process provided for in this Article and Articles 25A to 25G shall not be submitted to arbitration if the issue falls within the scope of a case with respect to which an arbitration panel or similar body has previously been set up in accordance with a bilateral or multilateral convention that provides for mandatory binding arbitration of unresolved issues arising from a mutual agreement procedure case. 2. Nothing in this Article and Articles 25A to 25G shall affect the fulfilment of wider obligations with respect to the arbitration of unresolved issues arising in the context of a mutual agreement procedure resulting from other conventions to which the Contracting States are or will become parties.”.

  • Interoperability To the extent required by applicable law, Cisco shall provide You with the interface information needed to achieve interoperability between the Software and another independently created program. Cisco will provide this interface information at Your written request after you pay Cisco’s licensing fees (if any). You will keep this information in strict confidence and strictly follow any applicable terms and conditions upon which Cisco makes such information available.

  • Employability Executive acknowledges (i) that Executive has sufficient abilities and talents to be able to obtain, upon the termination of Executive’s employment, comparable employment from another business while fully honoring and complying with the above covenants concerning confidential information and contacts with the Company’s or any of its Affiliates’ customers or employees, and (ii) the importance to the Company and its Affiliates of the above covenants. Accordingly, for a period of one (1) year following the termination of Executive’s employment with the Company and upon the Company’s reasonable request of Executive, Executive shall advise the Company of the identity of Executive’s new employer and shall provide a general description, in reasonable detail, of Executive’s new duties and responsibilities sufficient to inform the Company of its need to request a court order to enforce the above covenants.

  • Visibility 1. Unless the Council of Europe requests or agrees otherwise, the Grantee shall take all necessary measures to publicise the fact that the Action has been funded within the framework of a Joint Project between the European Union and the Council of Europe. Information given to the press and to the beneficiaries of the Action, all related publicity material, official notices, reports and publications, shall acknowledge that the Action was carried out with a grant from a Joint Project between the European Union and the Council of Europe and shall display in an appropriate way the Joint Projects’ visual identity (for instructions on use of the Joint Projects’ visual identity, see Appendix IV). 2. In cases where equipment or major items have been purchased using funds provided by the European Union or the Council of Europe, the Grantee shall indicate this clearly on that equipment and those major items (including display of the European Union and Council of Europe’s logos), provided that such actions do not jeopardise the safety and security of the Grantee’s staff. 3. The acknowledgement and Joint Projects’ visual identity shall be clearly visible in a manner that will not create any confusion regarding the identification of the Acton as a project of the Grantee and the ownership of the equipment and items by the Grantee. 4. All publications by the Grantee pertaining to the Action that have received funding from a Joint Project between the European Union and the Council of Europe, in whatever form and whatever medium, including the Internet, shall carry the following or a similar disclaimer: “This document has been produced using funds of a Joint Project between the European Union and the Council of Europe. The views expressed herein can in no way be taken to reflect the official opinion of the European Union or the Council of Europe”. 5. If the equipment purchased with a grant from a Joint Project is not transferred to the local partners of the Grantee or to the final recipient of the Action at the end of the implementation period of this Agreement, the visibility requirements as regards this equipment shall continue to apply between the end of the implementation period of this Agreement and the end of the Joint Project, if the latter lasts longer. 6. All layouts of any communication items prepared by the Grantee are subject to approval with the Contact point within the Council of Europe. 7. The Grantee accepts that the European Union and the Council of Europe may publish in any form and medium, including on their websites, the name and address of the Grantee, the purpose and amount of the grant and, if relevant, the percentage of co-financing.
