Xxxxxx Related Personal Leaves. The District will grant a personal leave of absence for one (1) year to employees who so request and who are not involved in the layoff in the event that Section 11.00 is implemented by the District. Such leaves of absence will be without compensation or other benefits, including seniority accrual, and will not be granted for periods exceeding one (1) year unless otherwise agreed to by the Association and District.
