XXXXXXX CONDUCTING UNION BUSINESS DURING WORKING HOURS. The xxxxxxx on each shift may engage in Union business relating to grievances during working hours without loss of time or pay for a period not exceeding two (2) hours in one day or five hours in one week. The Xxxxxxx shall notify their Department Head in writing, immediately upon commencement of such Union business and when the same has been completed.

XXXXXXX CONDUCTING UNION BUSINESS DURING WORKING HOURS. The Xxxxxxx/Chapter Chairperson may engage in Union business during working hours without loss of pay or time for a period not exceeding five (5) hours for any one (1) week. However, the Xxxxxxx/Chapter Chairperson shall notify their immediate supervisor of the nature, starting time, and completion time of such work. This allotment will also be granted to the additional Xxxxxxx(s) in the event of an additional shift.
XXXXXXX CONDUCTING UNION BUSINESS DURING WORKING HOURS. The xxxxxxx from DPW Division may engage in Union business related to grievances during working hours without loss of time or pay, for a period not exceeding one-half (1/2) hour for any one shift. However, at the commencement of each new year, the Union can opt to change the time of the previous sentence and elect to have two (2) hours a week. If the Union does not notify the Township Supervisor of this option by January 15th of each year, then the one-half (1/2) hour per day for any one shift will apply. The parties agree that before engaging in Union activities, the xxxxxxx shall notify the immediate supervisor or other persons designated by Management as to the time of leaving his/her job as well as notifying the same person upon their return to said job.

  • Union Activity During Working Hours Solicitation of Union membership or collection or checking of dues will not be conducted during working time. The Company agrees not to discriminate in any way against any employee for Union activity, but such activity shall not be carried on during working time, except as specifically allowed by the provisions of this Agreement.

  • TTOCs CONDUCTING UNION BUSINESS 1. Where a Teacher Teaching on Call (TTOC) is authorized by the local union or BCTF to conduct union business during the work week, the TTOC shall be paid by the employer according to the collective agreement. 2.
