XXXXXXX CONDUCTING UNION BUSINESS DURING WORKING HOURSThe xxxxxxx on each shift may engage in Union business relating to grievances during working hours without loss of time or pay for a period not exceeding two (2) hours in one day or five hours in one week. The Xxxxxxx shall notify their Department Head in writing, immediately upon commencement of such Union business and when the same has been completed.
XXXXXXX CONDUCTING UNION BUSINESS DURING WORKING HOURSThe Xxxxxxx/Chapter Chairperson may engage in Union business during working hours without loss of pay or time for a period not exceeding five (5) hours for any one (1) week. However, the Xxxxxxx/Chapter Chairperson shall notify their immediate supervisor of the nature, starting time, and completion time of such work. This allotment will also be granted to the additional Xxxxxxx(s) in the event of an additional shift.
XXXXXXX CONDUCTING UNION BUSINESS DURING WORKING HOURSThe xxxxxxx from DPW Division may engage in Union business related to grievances during working hours without loss of time or pay, for a period not exceeding one-half (1/2) hour for any one shift. However, at the commencement of each new year, the Union can opt to change the time of the previous sentence and elect to have two (2) hours a week. If the Union does not notify the Human Resources Director of this option by January 15th of each year, then the one-half (1/2) hour per day for any one shift will apply. The parties agree that before engaging in Union activities, the xxxxxxx shall notify the immediate supervisor or other persons designated by Management as to the time of leaving his/her job as well as notifying the same person upon their return to said job.

  • Union Activity During Working Hours Solicitation of Union membership or collection or checking of dues will not be conducted during working time. The Company agrees not to discriminate in any way against any employee for Union activity, but such activity shall not be carried on during working time, except as specifically allowed by the provisions of this Agreement.

  • TTOCs CONDUCTING UNION BUSINESS 1. Where a Teacher Teaching on Call (TTOC) is authorized by the local union or BCTF to conduct union business during the work week, the TTOC shall be paid by the employer according to the collective agreement. 2. Upon receipt, the union will reimburse the employer the salary and benefit costs associated with the time spent conducting union business. 3. Time spent conducting union business will not be considered a break in service with respect to payment on scale. 4. Time spent conducting union business will be recognized for the purpose of seniority and experience recognition up to a maximum of 40 days per school year.

  • Other Than Normal Working Hours Non-prevailing Wage Rate Projects: Work performed from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Monday to Friday, and any time Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays. The Contractor will perform Tasks during Other Than Normal Working Hours for the Unit Price set forth in the CTC multiplied by the Adjustment Factor of: 1.

  • Services to Other Clients; Certain Affiliated Activities (a) The relationship between the Asset Manager and the Series is as described in this Agreement and nothing in this Agreement, none of the services to be provided pursuant to this Agreement, nor any other matter, shall oblige the Asset Manager to accept responsibilities that are more extensive than those set forth in this Agreement. (b) The Asset Manager’s services to the Series are not exclusive. The Asset Manager may engage in other activities on behalf of itself, any other Managing Party and other clients (which, for the avoidance of doubt, may include other series of the Company). The Series acknowledges and agrees that the Asset Manager may, without prior notice to the Series, give advice to such other clients. The Asset Manager shall not be liable to account to the Series for any profits, commission or remuneration made or received in respect of transactions effected pursuant to the Asset Manager’s advice to another client and nor will the Asset Manager’s fees be abated as a result.

  • Outside Activities During Employment Except with the prior written consent of the Company, which shall not be unreasonably withheld, Executive will not, while employed by the Company, undertake or engage in any other employment, occupation or business enterprise that would interfere with Executive’s responsibilities and the performance of Executive’s duties hereunder, except for (i) reasonable time devoted to volunteer services for or on behalf of such religious, educational, non-profit and/or other charitable organization as Executive may wish to serve, (ii) reasonable time devoted to activities in the non-profit and business communities consistent with Executive’s duties, and (iii) such other activities as may be specifically approved by the Company. This restriction shall not, however, preclude Executive from owning less than one percent (1%) of the total outstanding shares of a publicly traded company, or employment or service in any capacity with Affiliates of the Company. As used in this Agreement, “Affiliates” means an entity under common management or control with the Company.

  • Normal Business Hours Those hours during which most similar businesses in the community are open to serve customers. In all cases, “normal business hours” must include some evening hours at least one night per week and/or some weekend hours.
