Xxxxxxxx City Council Roads and Traffic. Consultation with Xxxxxxxx City Council Roads and Traffic has been undertaken throughout investigation, design of the Greenwood/Killarny Street upgrade and throughout the development of the project with stakeholder consultation. A suitable design was developed through liaison with HCC officers, including Xxxxxx XxXxxxxx and Xxxxx Xxxx in order to meet HCC requirements. Correspondence regarding design considerations is included in Appendix X. Xxxxxxxx City Council Roads and Traffic supports the implementation of traffic signals at the intersection and made the following comments. ◗ Acceptance that the proposed Berm widths are reduced; ◗ Acceptance that the proposed design meets Safety Audit requirements; ◗ Provision for a cycle lane on Killarney Road should be made as a continuation of the existing cycle lanes on Killarney Road East; ◗ HCC suggested enforcing a clearway along Killarney Road to control parking during peak periods; ◗ Xxxxxxx Road intersection is currently busy with a lot of right turn movements from the intersection. Comment Where possible Xxxxxxxx City Council Roads and Traffic comments have been incorporated into the design. 1.5m wide cycle lanes and green painted advance stop line boxes have been provided on all approaches to the intersection and a dedicated right turn bay has been provided for safer access to Xxxxxxx Road. However, due to the speed of cars in this area and the safety issues associated with vehicle movements at an intersection it is not considered appropriate to provide on-road parking within close proximity to the intersection.

  • Parking and Transportation ‌ The Union agrees that during the life of this Agreement, the University may apply changes in transportation policy, including adjusting parking and U-Pass fees and criteria for assigning parking spots, to the bargaining unit without the obligation to bargain with the Union. The Union may raise issues and concerns about the University’s parking program at Joint Labor/Management Committee meetings or at ad hoc Labor Management Committee meetings. The Union shall have a standing seat on the University’s committee(s) that work on transportation and parking issues.

  • TRANSPORTATION AND TRAVEL TIME 12.01 The Employer will provide transportation to and from jobs from the Employer’s shop. If an employee’s car is used for such transportation, the owner shall be paid fifty cents (50¢) per kilometre for such use.

  • Department of Transportation Bridge Maintenance employees, when actually climbing the cable stays of the Penobscot Narrows Bridge for inspection and/or repair, shall be compensated at the rate of ten dollars ($10.00) an hour in addition to their regular hourly rate of pay. Employees shall be compensated for a minimum of one (1) hour of such work regardless of the length of the climbing assignment.
