Teachers actively employed with the District at the start of the school year shall be granted a credit of ten (10) days of sick leave allowance beginning the first day of active employment. This credit shall be considered an advance of the normal cumulative allowance of one (1) day of sick leave for every month on duty during the entire regular school year.
