YEARS OF TEACHING AND/OR TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE. Years of teaching and/or technical experience directly related to a faculty member's primary teaching field(s) (i.e., the faculty member's "area(s) of specialty") will be credited for rank qualification and step placement on a one (1) year of experience to one (1) year of credit basis. Years of teaching and/or technical experience in related fields will be credited for rank qualification and step placement on a two (2) years of experience to one (1) year of credit basis. For any one (1) calendar year, no more than one (1) year of teaching experience and no more than one (1) year of technical experience may be credited for rank qualification or step placement purposes. Years of teaching experience and years of technical experience, both acquired within a single calendar year, may both be credited for rank qualification and step placement purposes. Career Technical Education shop teaching experience directly related to the faculty member's primary teaching assignment may be counted as either teaching experience or related technical experience for rank qualification purposes.

  • DEVELOPMENT OR ASSISTANCE IN DEVELOPMENT OF SPECIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS/ STATEMENTS OF WORK Firms and/or individuals that assisted in the development or drafting of the specifications, requirements, statements of work, or solicitation documents contained herein are excluded from competing for this solicitation. This shall not be applicable to firms and/or individuals providing responses to a publicly posted Request for Information (RFI) associated with a solicitation.

  • General Experience The Applicant shall meet the following minimum criteria: -

  • Evaluation of Teaching 1. All reports on a teacher shall be in writing.

  • Years Experience Company years experience in this category? This is an evaluation criterion worth a maximum of 10 points. See RFP for more information. (If applicable, vendor should download the Reseller/Dealers spreadsheet from the Attachments section, fill out the f orm and submit the document in the ”Response Attachments” RESELLERS section. EXAMPLE: BIGmart is a reseller of ACME brand televisions. If ACME were a TIPS awarded vendor, then ACME woul d list BIGmart as a reseller.

  • TEACHING HOURS AND TEACHING LOAD A. As professionals, teachers are expected to devote to their assignments the time necessary to meet their responsibilities, but they shall not be required to “clock in or clock out” by hours and minutes. Teachers shall indicate their presence for duty by placing their signature and time in the proper column of the faculty “sign-in” roster.

  • TRAINING AND EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT 9.1 The Employer and the Union recognize the value and benefit of education and training designed to enhance an employee’s ability to perform their job duties. Training and employee development opportunities will be provided to employees in accordance with college/district policies and available resources.

  • Termination of Therapy Therapist reserves the right to terminate therapy at his/her discretion. Reasons for termination include, but are not limited to, untimely payment of fees, failure to comply with treatment recommendations, conflicts of interest, failure to participate in therapy, Patient needs are outside of Therapist’s scope of competence or practice, or Patient is not making adequate progress in therapy. Patient has the right to terminate therapy at his/her discretion. Upon either party’s decision to terminate therapy, Therapist will generally recommend that Patient participate in at least one, or possibly more, termination sessions. These sessions are intended to facilitate a positive termination experience and give both parties an opportunity to reflect on the work that has been done. Therapist will also attempt to ensure a smooth transition to another therapist by offering referrals to Patient.

  • NON-TEACHING DUTIES A. The Committee and the Association agree that a teacher's primary responsibility is to teach. It must be remembered, however, that in addition to that primary purpose there are other responsibilities within the School that must be assumed by teachers. The Committee and the Association recognize that paraeducators, clerical employees are useful and necessary in order to implement teaching. The Committee, having made provisions for paraeducators, will continue to work toward the improvement of this situation.

  • Teaching Loads The range of teaching loads, number of preparations and number of pupil contacts required should provide for effective instruction and meaningful teacher-student interaction. DPS and the Association agree to work together to seek increased state funding to decrease class size. The principal shall report to the CSC, after the roster verification process, the number of students in each class and this will be published in the CSC minutes on the school’s website. For the purposes of this section, a “class” shall be defined as any general education, including electives and model one classes. Upon request, after the roster verification process, the District shall provide the Association with the student information management system data regarding class enrollment.
