Quality Management System. 1.1 QM system of the Supplier
Quality Management System. 2.1 The Supplier is responsible for the quality of the products it manufactures and/or products or services supplied to SFS. 2.2 The Supplier is obliged to strive for zero defects and to continuously improve. It shall take all the nec- essary and economically viable steps to achieve this goal. 2.3 The Supplier commits to continuous improvement and further development of his procedures and pro- cesses. 2.4 The Supplier commits to establish and perma- nently apply a quality management system in accord- ance with the requirements of ISO9001 or IATF 16949. Proof of the successful introduction and appli- cation of such system must be provided by an accred- ited certifying institution. Deviating QMS’s can be ac- cepted by SFS on a transitional basis by agreement with the Supplier.
Quality Management System. 13.1 The Supplier must set up and maintain a documented quality management system which reflects the latest state of technology and which is appropriate in type and scope. The Supplier must take records, in particular of its quality inspections and tests, and must present them to TT on demand. 13.2 The Supplier hereby agrees to quality audits by TT or by an authorised person by TT to check the efficiency of the quality management system. TT is entitled to object to the improper execution of such systems and is entitled to reject from the outset any items or parts which have not been produced or manufactured in compliance with an adequate quality management system.
Quality Management System. DIN EN ISO 9001 / IATF 16949: Ch. 4.4 / 8.4.2.3) An effective quality management system set up according to the standards and regulations of the regulations DIN EN ISO 9001 [01] / IATF 16949 [05] or API Spec Q1 [06] (only BENTELER Steel/Tube). The minimum requirement is evidence of certification according to ISO 9001 [01]. As far as BENTELER supplies processes, products or services that have a direct, measurable influence on the quality of the final product (supplier class 1 (VC1) according to BENTELER - Supplier Assessment and Approval Process), the supplier has to present a certification according to IATF 16949 [05] for supplies in the automotive supply chain. In other branches other branch-specific certificates may be required (e.g. API). BENTELER needs to be informed about the expiration of a certificate without planned re- certification at least six months prior to the expiry date.
