Acceptable Alternate Engine definition

Acceptable Alternate Engine means a Pratx & Xhitxxx XX0D-7A engine for the aircraft bearing U.S. registration number N808MC and a General Electric CF6-50E2 aircraft engine for the aircraft bearing U.S. registration numbers N505MC, N508MC, N507MC, N509MC and N516MC or an engine of the same or another manufacturer of equivalent or greater residual value, condition, utility, airworthiness, and remaining useful life and suitable for installation and use on the Airframe; provided that such engine shall be of the same make, model and manufacturer as the other engines installed on the Airframe, shall be an engine of a type then being utilized by Lessee on other Boeing 747-200 aircraft operated by Lessee, and shall have been maintained, serviced, repaired and overhauled in substantially the same manner as Lessee maintains, services, repairs and overhauls similar engines utilized by Lessee and without in any way discriminating against such engine.
Acceptable Alternate Engine means (i) a CFM International Model 56-5 (or improved type) engine having not less than 1,500 cycles left before such engine's next scheduled maintenance overhaul or (ii) an engine of the same or another manufacturer suitable for use on the Airframe and having a value and utility equal to or greater than a CFM Model 56-5 type engine, assuming such engine is in the condition required by the Lease.
Acceptable Alternate Engine means a General Electric CF6-50E2 engine for the aircraft bearing U.S. registration number N523MC, N524MC, N526MC, N527MC or an engine of the same or another manufacturer of equivalent or greater residual value, condition, utility, airworthiness, and remaining useful life and suitable for installation and use on the Airframe; provided that such engine shall be of the same make, model and manufacturer as the other engines installed on the Airframe, shall be an engine of a type then being utilized by Lessee on other Boeing 747-200 aircraft operated by Lessee, and shall have been maintained, serviced, repaired and overhauled in substantially the same manner as Lessee maintains, services, repairs and overhauls similar engines utilized by Lessee and without in any way discriminating against such engine.

Examples of Acceptable Alternate Engine in a sentence

  • Such Acceptable Alternate Airframe or Acceptable Alternate Engine shall thereupon constitute an "Airframe" or an "Engine", as the case may be, for all purposes hereof and shall be deemed to constitute part of the Aircraft.

  • In the event that any Engine owned by Lessor shall not be installed on the Airframe at the time of return hereunder, Lessee shall be required to return the Airframe hereunder with an Acceptable Alternate Engine meeting the requirements of, and in accordance with, Section 10 and Exhibit G hereto.

More Definitions of Acceptable Alternate Engine

Acceptable Alternate Engine means a General Electric CF6-50E2 engine or an engine of the same or another manufacturer of equivalent or greater residual value, condition, utility, airworthiness, and remaining useful life and suitable for installation and use on the Airframe; provided, that such engine shall be of the same make, model and manufacturer as the other engines installed on the Airframe, shall be an engine of a type then being utilized by Lessee on other Boeing 747-200 aircraft operated by Lessee, and shall have been maintained, serviced, repaired and overhauled in substantially the same manner as required under this Lease without in any way discriminating against such engine.
Acceptable Alternate Engine means (a) with respect to any Engine subject to a Lease, an aircraft engine that qualifies under the terms of such Lease to replace such Engine and to thereby become an “Engine” as defined in such Lease and, (b) with respect to an Engine not subject to a Lease, an aircraft engine of the same make, model and manufacture, and having a value, utility and airworthiness at least equal to, and being in at least as good an operating and maintenance condition as, and having been maintained in the equivalent or better manner as, the Engine being replaced (assuming that such Engine had been maintained in accordance with the Loan Documents and the applicable Lease); provided that such aircraft engine shall be suitable for installation and use on the Airframe related to the Engine being replaced.
Acceptable Alternate Engine means (i) a Xxxxx & Xxxxxxx model PW 4168A or 4173 (or improved) type engine having not less than 500 cycles left before such engine's next scheduled shop visit or (ii) an engine of the same or another manufacturer suitable for use on the Airframe and having a value and utility equal to or greater than a Xxxxx & Whitney model PW 4168A or 4173 type engine, assuming such engine is in the condition required by the Lease.
Acceptable Alternate Engine with respect to any Lease, shall mean an aircraft engine that qualifies under the terms of such Lease to replace an Engine subject to such Lease and to thereby become an “Engine” as defined in such Lease.
Acceptable Alternate Engine means a Pratx & Xhitxxx Xxxel PW4056 engine or an engine of the same or another manufacturer of equivalent or greater value and utility (without regard to hours or cycles) as the replaced or substituted Engine (assuming such Engine was in the condition required by the terms of this Agreement), and suitable for installation and use on the Airframe; provided that such engine shall (i) be of the same make, model and manufacturer as the other engine installed on the Airframe and (ii) be an engine of a type then being utilized by Owner on other Boeing 747-422 aircraft operated by Owner.
Acceptable Alternate Engine means (i) a CFM International Model 56- 5B (or improved type) engine suitable for use on the Airframe and having not less than 1,500 cycles left before such engine's next scheduled shop visit in accordance with Lessee's FAA approved maintenance program or (ii) an engine of the same manufacturer suitable for use on the Airframe and having a value and utility equal to or greater than a CFM Model 56-5B type engine, assuming such engine is in the condition required by the Lease, provided that the primary purpose of designating any engine as an Acceptable Alternate Engine is not to reduce the aggregate life, value and utility from that of the substituted Engine.
Acceptable Alternate Engine means, a CFM International, Inc. model --------------------------- CFM56-3B2 engine or an engine of the same manufacturer of the same or a comparable model or an improved model, in each case of equivalent or greater value, modification status and utility and suitable for installation and use on the Airframe.
