Accident Make Up Pay definition

Accident Make Up Pay means a weekly payment being the difference between the weekly compensation paid to the employee pursuant to the relevant Workers' Compensation legislation and the wages the employee would have received for ordinary hours worked if the employee had been performing normal duties. This shall exclude additional payments such as attendance, bonus payments, shift penalties, overtime payments, fares and travelling allowance, site allowance, or other such rates.
Accident Make Up Pay means a weekly payment of an amount being the difference between the weekly amount of compensation paid to the employee pursuant to the Act, and the employee’s ordinary weekly rate under clause 0 for permanent employees (pro-rated for part-time employees).

More Definitions of Accident Make Up Pay

Accident Make Up Pay means the difference between the amount of compensation paid to the employee pursuant to the appropriate workers' compensation legislation and the Base Rate specified in the relevant Appendix to this Agreement, as if the employee was paid pursuant to the provisions of that Appendix.

In the event that an employee receives a lump sum in redemption of weekly payments under the said relevant legislation, the liability of the employer to pay accident pay as herein provided shall cease from the date of such redemption.
