Accidental Damage Failure definition

Accidental Damage Failure or “ADH” means accidental or liquid damage to the Protected Device resulting from handling. (3) “Eligible Device” means the wireless device that We have designated as eligible for service under the Phone Protection Plan Contract as set forth in the list of Eligible Devices and their device tier available from Us, which can be found at www.Brightstarprotect.com/shawmobile, in Our store locations, or by calling 1-855-975-7794. Examples of Accidental Damage Failure in a sentence

  • If You have been approved for a Service Request and You send Your Protected Device to Us after receiving Replacement Equipment, but upon receipt of the Protected Device We determine that no Extended Warranty Failure or Accidental Damage Failure has occurred, We may charge You a No Trouble Found Fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00).

  • We may also charge You a No Trouble Found Fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) if You have been approved for a Service Request and at the time of repair of the Protected Equipment, We determine that no Extended Warranty Failure or Accidental Damage Failure has occurred.

  • Accidental Bodily Injury means an Injury sustained as the result of an Accident and independently of all other causes by an outside traumatic event or due to exposure to the elements.

  • Property damage means physical injury to, destruction of, or loss of use of tangible property.

  • Severe property damage means substantial physical damage to property, damage to the treatment facilities which would cause them to become inoperable, or substantial and permanent loss of natural resources which can reasonably be expected to occur in the absence of a bypass. Severe property damage does not mean economic loss caused by delays in production.

  • Substantial damage means damage of any origin sustained by a structure whereby the cost of restoring the structure to its before damaged condition would equal or exceed 50 percent of the market value of the structure before the damage occurred.

  • Injury means accidental physical bodily harm excluding illness or disease solely and directly caused by external, violent and visible and evident means which is verified and certified by a Medical Practitioner.

  • Damage means actual and/or physical damage to tangible property;

  • Consequential Loss means loss of profits, anticipated loss of profit or revenue, loss of production, loss of business opportunity, loss of or damage to goodwill or reputation, loss of use or any other similar loss, but excludes:

  • Electrical Losses means all electrical losses associated with the transmission of Product to the Delivery Point, including if applicable, but not limited to, any transmission or transformation losses between the CAISO revenue meter and the Delivery Point.

  • Catastrophic Event means a rare circumstance in which mass casualties and/or significant property damage has occurred or is imminent (e.g. September 11th, hurricanes, earthquakes greater than 6.1 on the Richter scale)

  • Catastrophic illness or “injury” means an illness or injury that is expected to incapacitate the employee for an extended period of time, or that incapacitates a member of the employee’s family which incapacity requires the employee to take time off from work for an extended period of time to care for that family member, and taking extended time off work creates a financial hardship for the employee because he or she has exhausted all of his or her sick leave and other paid time off.

  • Accident means a sudden, unforeseen and involuntary event caused by external, visible and violent means.

  • Catastrophic illness or injury means one of the following:

  • Damage Payment means the dollar amount equal to the amount to be posted as Project Development Security pursuant to Section 8.4(a)(i) hereof.
