Additional Research Program definition

Additional Research Program has the meaning set forth in Section 4.1(b).
Additional Research Program means the sponsored research relating to the further research, development and validation of the Additional Licensed Technology undertaken by UHN under the Additional Sponsored Research Agreement;

  • The Parties acknowledge that the Additional Research Program will be carried out in vitro utilizing human biological material and that no in vivo studies will be undertaken.

  • Subject to Article 8 below, each Party agrees to be responsible and to assume liability for its acts or omissions, and those of its officers, agents, personnel, employees, staff or students, arising out of or as a result of, or in connection with the conduct of the Additional Research Program, to the full extent required by law.

  • UHN shall ensure that its employees who perform UHN’s obligations under the Additional Research Program are appropriately trained and qualified to perform the obligations in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.

  • Collaboration has the meaning set forth in Section 2.1.

  • Collaboration Target means the Initial Collaboration Targets set forth on Exhibit F and any Additional Target or Substitute Target that is selected in accordance with Section 3.3 of this Agreement.

  • Collaborative drug therapy management means participation by an authorized pharmacist and a physician in the management of drug therapy pursuant to a written community practice protocol or a written hospital practice protocol.

  • Licensed Program means the executable processing programs of licensed information, which is composed of various modules in the Licensed Software package provided by the Licensor.

  • Research Budget has the meaning set forth in Section 2.2.

  • Commercialization Plan has the meaning set forth in Section 6.2.

  • scientific research means any activity in the field of natural or applied science for the extension of knowledge;

  • Research means a systematic investigation, including research development, testing, and evaluation, designed to develop or contribute to generalizable knowledge.

  • Development Term means the period commencing on the Closing Date and ending on the earlier of (a) the Option Closing Date or (b) the date the Option terminates or expires other than by exercise.

  • Development Report means a written account of Licensee’s progress under the Development Plan having at least the information specified on Appendix B to this Agreement, and shall be sent to the address specified on Appendix B.

  • Collaboration Compound means any of the following: (a) FG-4592, (b) any HIF Compound (other than FG-4592) that is added to this Agreement pursuant to Section 3.6, and (c) any salts, esters, complexes, chelates, crystalline and amorphous morphic forms, pegylated forms, enantiomers (excluding regioisomers), prodrugs, solvates, metabolites and catabolites of any of the foregoing ((a) or (b)).

  • Research-based means a program or practice that has some research demonstrating effectiveness, but that does not yet meet the standard of evidence-based practices.

  • Commercialization or “Commercialize” means activities directed to marketing, promoting, research and development as required, manufacturing for sale, offering for sale, distributing, importing or selling a product, including sub-licensing or sub-contracting of these activities.
