Additional Residential Unit definition

Additional Residential Unit means a dwelling unit in addition to the primary dwelling unit, in which food preparation, eating, living, sleeping and sanitary facilities are provided for the exclusive use of the occupants thereof.

More Definitions of Additional Residential Unit

Additional Residential Unit means a single accessory dwelling unit within a ground-related dwelling and/or within a structure accessory to a ground-related dwelling that consists of one or more rooms that are designed, occupied or intended for use, including occupancy, by one or more persons as an independent and separate residence in which cooking facilities, sleeping facilities, and sanitary facilities are provided
Additional Residential Unit means a self-contained residential unit with full kitchen and bathroom facilities within or as an accessory to an existing residential unit such as a basement apartment or secondary suite. For the purposes of this By-law, a standalone residential unit that is detached from an existing residential unit within the same lot is not to be considered an additional residential unit.
Additional Residential Unit means an additional living unit, or granny flat, either a detached or attached dwelling unit, which provides complete, independent living facilities for one or more persons with provisions for living, sleeping, eating, cooking, and sanitation on the same parcel as the primary residence.
Additional Residential Unit means a residential dwelling unit that is self-contained, subordinate to and located within the same building or on the same lot as the primary residential unit. The additional residential unit shall include the following areas that are separate from the primary residential unit: a separate entrance, kitchen facilities, washroom facilities, and living space; an Additional Residential Unit must be registered under By-Law 2020-162, as amended;
