Food Preparation. Meals shall be prepared under properly controlled temperatures and assembled not more than 24 hours prior to delivery.

To maintain the consistency of the food, all food items sold at the festival must be prepared by the vendor’s employees. The Executive Director must approve menu additions, deletions, or substitutions. Projected attendance at the two- day festival is 10,000 plus, assuming no inclement weather. Please estimate your needs accordingly.

1.6.2 Vendor shall assure that each meal provided to the Vended Sponsor under this Agreement meets the minimum requirements for reimbursable meals that meet the Public Law 111-296, the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010 (HHFKA). The Vendor must follow the single Food-Based Menu Planning (FBMP) meal patterns as described in 7 CFR 225.16. [7 CFR 225.6(h)(2)(xii)]

Food Preparation. 1. An employee involved in the preparation of food will not be required to wear a hat as part of the uniform. Any such employee shall use an "effective hair restraint" to prevent contamination of food. Therefore, any such employee is required to restrain his or her hair in an "effective control" manner. The hair restraint will be defined on a collective basis. Hair nets, hair spray, short hair, hats or any other means to restrain hair in an "effective manner" will be required.
2. Upon employee request, the District will furnish safety glasses for any employee involved in the actual cooking of food.
Food Preparation. Tenant, if involved in food preparation and sales as a cafe, restaurant, or similar use, and/or food takeout service, shall install at Tenant's expense, grease traps and any fire protective systems in grill, deep fry, and cooking areas which are required by city, county, and state fire ordinances, and such system when installed shall qualify for full fire protective credits allowed by the fire insurance rating and regulatory body in whose jurisdiction the Demised Premises are located.
