Approved Game Console definition

Approved Game Console means the Xbox 360 game console device which supports the Approved Internet Format and the Approved Closed Internet Delivery and complies with the Usage Rules and the Content Protection Requirements and Obligations set forth in Schedule C attached hereto.

Approved Game Console means a device designed primarily for the playing of electronic games which is also capable of receiving protected audiovisual content via a built-in IP connection, and transmitting such content to a television or other display device. An Approved Game Console shall support the Approved Delivery Means, meet the Content Protection Requirements set forth in Schedule C and implement the Usage Rules.

Approved Game Console means an IP-enabled hardware device used by a Customer that (i) is designed primarily for playing video games, (ii) supports the Approved Format, (iii) is capable of implementing the Usage Rules, (iv) satisfies the Content Protection Obligations and Requirements set forth in Schedule B.2 and (v) receives Included Programs solely by the Approved Transmission Means applicable to Non-Streaming Devices. Approved Game Consoles do not include Streaming Devices, Approved Set-Top Boxes, Personal Computers, set-top-boxes, personal computers, portable media devices (such as the Apple iPod), PDAs and mobile phones, or any device running an operating system designed for portable or mobile devices, including, without limitation, Microsoft Smartphone, Microsoft Windows CE, Microsoft Pocket PC and future versions thereof, or an operating system other than a Permitted OS.

  • Approved Vendor means a person who has been approved for inclusion on an approved vendor list through the approved vendor list process.

  • Digital Cross Connect System or "DCS" is a function which provides automated Cross Connection of Digital Signal Level 0 (DS0) or higher transmission bit rate digital channels within physical interface facilities. Types of DCS include but are not limited to DCS 1/0s, DCS 3/1s, and DCS 3/3s, where the nomenclature 1/0 denotes interfaces typically at the DS1 rate or greater with Cross Connection typically at the DS0 rate. This same nomenclature, at the appropriate rate substitution, extends to the other types of DCS specifically cited as 3/1 and 3/3. Types of DCS that cross connect Synchronous Transport Signal level 1 (STS-1 s) or other Synchronous Optical Network (SONET) signals (e.g., STS-3) are also DCS, although not denoted by this same type of nomenclature.
