Backup Compound Research Program definition

Backup Compound Research Program means the collaborative research program conducted by Paratek and WCCI for the purpose of identifying or further researching or developing Backup Compounds pursuant to Article 3 of this Agreement and reflected in the Backup Compound Research Plans.
Backup Compound Research Program means the collaborative research program conducted by Paratek and WCCI for the purpose of identifying or further researching or developing Backup Compounds pursuant to Article 3 of this Agreement and reflected in the Backup Compound Research Plans. 1.9 “Backup Compound Research Program Term” means the date of approval by the JSC of a Backup Compound Research Plan and shall continue for such period as the Parties shall mutually agree in the Backup Compound Research Plan, subject to earlier termination upon termination or expiration of this Agreement pursuant to Article 10 hereof. 1.10 “Calendar Quarter” means the period beginning on the Effective Date and ending on the last day of the calendar quarter in which the Effective Date falls, and thereafter each successive period of three (3) consecutive calendar months ending on March 31, June 30, September 30 or December 31. 1.11 “Calendar Year” means each successive period of twelve (12) months commencing on January 1 and ending on December 31. 1.12 “Clinical Trials” means, collectively, any Phase I Clinical Trial, Phase II Clinical Trial, and/or Phase III Clinical Trial.

Related to Backup Compound Research Program

  • Collaboration Compound means any of the following: (a) FG-4592, (b) any HIF Compound (other than FG-4592) that is added to this Agreement pursuant to Section 3.6, and (c) any salts, esters, complexes, chelates, crystalline and amorphous morphic forms, pegylated forms, enantiomers (excluding regioisomers), prodrugs, solvates, metabolites and catabolites of any of the foregoing ((a) or (b)).

  • Research Program has the meaning set forth in Section 2.1.

  • Collaboration Target means the Initial Collaboration Targets set forth on Exhibit F and any Additional Target or Substitute Target that is selected in accordance with Section 3.3 of this Agreement.

  • Research Program Term has the meaning set forth in Section 2.2.

  • Lead Compound means any compound of lead other than galena which, when treated in the manner described below, yields to an aqueous solution of hydrochloric acid a quantity soluble lead compound exceeding, when calculated as lead monoxide, five percent of the dry weight of the portion taken analysis.

  • Development Candidate means a Compound that meets the Development Candidate Criteria for the initiation of a Development Program for the treatment of CF, and which is the subject of a notice from Vertex to CFFT that Vertex intends to commence formal pre-clinical development of the Compound in the Field pursuant to the provisions of Section 3.1 hereof.

  • Development Program means the implementation of the development plan.

  • Licensed Compound means (a) 3,4-Diaminopyridine, the chemical structure of which is set forth on Exhibit B-2; and (b) any derivatives, isomers, metabolites, prodrugs, acid forms, base forms, salt forms, or modified versions of such compound in (a).

  • Licensed Compounds means any EZH2 Compound(s) that is:

  • Collaboration Product means a pharmaceutical product containing or comprising Compound in any dosage form alone, or in combination with, one or more other pharmaceutically active ingredients, and any and all Improvements thereto.

  • Research Plan shall have the meaning set forth in Section 2.1.

  • Research Project means a discrete scientific endeavor to answer a research question or a set of research questions related to medical marijuana and is required for a medical marijuana research license.

  • Collaboration Know-How means all Know-How conceived, discovered, developed or otherwise made by or on behalf of a particular Party or any of its Affiliates or permitted subcontractors of any of the foregoing (solely or jointly by or on behalf of a particular Party or any of its Affiliates or permitted subcontractors of any of the foregoing) in the course of [***].

  • Back-Up Compound means, with reference to any particular Development Candidate or Drug Product Candidate, a Compound which (a) has the same principal mode of action (i.e., Potentiator or Corrector) as that Development Candidate or Drug Product Candidate; and (b) was among the group of Compounds, identified by VERTEX as potential additional lead molecules having the same principal mode of action, from which the Development Candidate was selected.

  • Commercialization or “Commercialize” means activities directed to marketing, promoting, research and development as required, manufacturing for sale, offering for sale, distributing, importing or selling a product, including sub-licensing or sub-contracting of these activities.

  • Collaboration has the meaning set forth in Section 2.1.

  • Development Activities means those activities which are normally undertaken for the development, construction, repair, renovation, rehabilitation or conversion of buildings for residential purposes, including the acquisition of property;

  • Licensed Program means the executable processing programs of licensed information, which is composed of various modules in the Licensed Software package provided by the Licensor.

  • Product Candidate means each of MYO-101, MYO-102, MYO-103, MYO-201 and MYO-301, as defined on Exhibit B, in each case in any form or formulation.

  • Collaboration IP means Collaboration Know-How and Collaboration Patents.

  • Phase I Clinical Study means, as to a particular Licensed Product, an initial clinical study in humans with the purpose of assessing the Licensed Product’s safety, tolerability, toxicity, pharmacokinetics or other pharmacological properties.

  • Development Data means any and all research data, pharmacology data, chemistry, manufacturing and control data, preclinical data, clinical data and all other documentation (including raw data) compiled, developed or generated with respect to the Compound or Product.

  • Development Plan has the meaning set forth in Section 3.2.

  • Clinical Study means a Phase I Study, Phase II Study, Phase III Study, as applicable.

  • Commercialization Plan has the meaning set forth in Section 6.2.

  • Phase I Clinical Trial means a study in humans which provides for the first introduction into humans of a product, conducted in normal volunteers or patients to generate information on product safety, tolerability, pharmacological activity or pharmacokinetics, or otherwise consistent with the requirements of U.S. 21 C.F.R. §312.21(a) or its foreign equivalents.
