Balancing Gas definition

Balancing Gas means Gas purchased as part of a Balancing Gas Call, or sold as part of a Balancing Gas Put, by MDL.
Balancing Gas means Gas used to manage line pack on a Transmission Pipeline.
Balancing Gas means any Gas taken during a Day which is in excess of the Authorized Quantity, subject to Section 13.2 (Provision of Gas Balancing).

More Definitions of Balancing Gas

Balancing Gas means Natural Gas acquired or relinquished or to be acquired or relinquished by the Transporter for the purposes set out in Part E (Balancing and Shrinkage) Section 1.1;
Balancing Gas means gas which, during the balance period, has been introduced into the transmission network or released from that network and which is purchased or sold by the system operator for the purpose of maintaining the operational capacity of the network. The quantity of the balancing gas purchased or sold during the balance period is calculated in energy units as the difference between the quantities of gas that have been introduced into and released from the transmission network during the balance period.
