Base Index Level definition

Base Index Level means the base index level as specified in the relevant Final Terms;
Base Index Level means the base index level as specified in the applicable Final Terms;

  • By way of example, if the Base Index Level on the first day of the second Lease Year is 240 and the Adjusted Index Level on the first day of the third Lease Year is 244.8, the percentage increase in the Index is 102% (i.e. 244.8 divided by 240).

More Definitions of Base Index Level

Base Index Level means and be defined as the level of the Index in effect on the Rental Commencement Date.
Base Index Level means the base index level as specified in the relevant Final Terms; “Index” or “Index Level” means (subject as provided in Condition 4.9) the non-revised Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices excluding tobacco or relevant Successor Index (as defined in Condition 4.9(i)), measuring the rate of inflation in the European Monetary Union excluding tobacco, expressed as an index and published by Eurostat (the “HICP”). Base Index Level means the level of the Inflation Index as at the Base Index Date.

Related to Base Index Level

  • Index Level means, in respect of any day and subject to Adjustment Provisions: (a) in respect of an Index (other than a Multiple Exchange Index), the closing level of such Index at the Valuation Time on such day; and (b) in respect of an Index that is a Multiple Exchange Index, the official closing level of the Index on such day at the Valuation Time as calculated and published by the Index Sponsor each as rounded up to four decimal places (with 0.00005 being rounded up), all as determined by the Calculation Agent.

  • Base Index Figure means (subject to Condition 4.3(i)) the base index figure as specified in the relevant Final Terms;
