Basic Construction of the Building definition

Basic Construction of the Building means the structure of the Building as built on the date of this Work Letter.
Basic Construction of the Building means in addition to the structure itself, the mechanical and electrical systems and the distribution thereof to locations from which each floor can be served, and the elevators, lobby and other common areas, andy other necessary construction, excepting only any materials or work to finish any portion for occupancy by particular tenants.
Basic Construction of the Building means the interior structure of the Building and all other improvements, fixtures, and facilities which are owned by Landlord and which are a part of the Building, as these exist on the date of this Lease.

  • Section 15.01 If the Premises or any part thereof shall be damaged or rendered Untenantable by fire or other insured casualty and Tenant gives prompt notice thereof to Landlord and this Lease is not terminated pursuant to any provision of this Article, Landlord shall proceed, with reasonable diligence after the collection of the insurance proceeds attributable to such damage, to repair or cause to be repaired such damage to the Basic Construction of the Building.

  • Provided this Lease shall not then or thereafter be terminated in accordance with the provisions of this Article 10, upon Tenant giving notice thereof to Landlord, the damage to the Basic Construction of the Building shall diligently be repaired by Landlord to a condition substantially comparable (subject to changes Landlord shall deem reasonable and desirable) to the condition existing prior to such damage (“Landlord’s Restoration Work”).

More Definitions of Basic Construction of the Building

Basic Construction of the Building means the structure of the Building as built on the date of this Work Letter, the Shell Improvements, and all other improvements, fixtures and facilities constituting a part of the Project, as these exist on the date of this Work Letter if the Building is complete, or as provided for in Landlord's plans and specifications for the Building if prior to completion.
Basic Construction of the Building shall have the meaning given in Exhibit C.
Basic Construction of the Building means the demising walls, structural slabs constituting the floors and ceilings, structural columns, exterior walls and Building Systems to the extent necessary to be delivered to the Premises, or to such other more remote location where the point of connection of the Independent Systems to the Building Systems is located or is to be located pursuant to the terms hereof (and in all events shall exclude the distribution of any such Building Systems within the Premises).

Related to Basic Construction of the Building

  • Building construction means any physical activity on the site involved in the erection of a structure, cladding, external finish, formwork, fixture, fitting of service installation and the unloading of plant, machinery, materials or the like.

  • Residential construction means construction on single-family or two-family dwellings occupied or used, or intended to be occupied or used, primarily for residential purposes, and includes real property pursuant to chapter 499B.

  • Erection, construction, remodeling, repairing means all types of work done on a particular building or work at the site thereof in the construction or development of the project, including without limitation, erecting, construction, remodeling, repairing, altering, painting, and decorating, the transporting of materials and supplies to or from the building or work done by the employees of the Contractor, Subcontractor, or Agent thereof, and the manufacturing or furnishing of

  • New construction means, for the purposes of determining insurance rates, structures for which the "start of construction" commenced on or after the effective date of an initial FIRM or after December 31, 1974, whichever is later, and includes any subsequent improvements to such structures. For floodplain management purposes, "new construction" means structures for which the "start of construction" commenced on or after the effective date of the floodplain management regulations adopted by a community and includes any subsequent improvements to such structures.

  • The constructional plant means all appliances, tools, plants or machinery or whatsoever nature required in or about the execution, completion or maintenance of the works but does not include materials or other things intended to form part of the permanent work.

  • Base Building shall include the structural portions of the Building, the public restrooms and the Building mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and equipment located in the internal core of the Building on the floor or floors on which the Premises are located. Tenant shall promptly provide Landlord with copies of any notices it receives regarding an alleged violation of Law. Tenant shall comply with the rules and regulations of the Building attached as Exhibit E and such other reasonable rules and regulations adopted by Landlord from time to time, including rules and regulations for the performance of Alterations (defined in Section 9).

  • Construction Zone shall have the meaning set forth in Clause 8.3 (i);

  • Constructional Plant means all appliances or things whatever nature required in or about the execution, completion or maintenance of the works or temporary works (as hereinafter defined) but does not include materials or other things intended to form or forming part of the permanent work or temporary housing, hutting, office, stores, etc.,

  • Existing construction means any structure for which the "start of construction" commenced before the effective date of the initial floodplain management code or ordinance adopted by the community as a basis for that community's participation in the NFIP.

  • Completion of Construction means all the construction is complete except for minor weather-related components and conforms to the approved plans and specifications and change orders.

  • Renovation means altering a facility or one or more facility components in any way, including the stripping or removal of RACM from a facility component. Operations in which load-supporting structural members are wrecked or taken out are demolitions.

  • construction site means a workplace where construction work is being performed;

  • Commencement of Construction means the commencement of construction of foundation components or elements (such as footings, rafts or piles) for the home.

  • Original construction ’ shall mean the first or initial construction

  • Base Building Work means the base building work for the Building as described in this Manual.

  • Building Work has the meaning given to it in section 6 of the Building and Construction Industry (Improving Productivity) Act 2016 (Cth);

  • Construction Plant means appliances, machinery with necessary supply to up keep and maintenance of the works or temporary works but dose not include materials or other things intended to form part of the permanent work.

  • Construction sign means a sign which identifies the architect, engineers, contractors and other individuals or firms involved with the construction of a building, or announces the character of the building or enterprise, which is erected during the building construction period.

  • Construction project means the same as that term is defined in Section 38-1a-102.

  • Common Areas and Facilities means collectively the Development Common Areas and Facilities and the Residential Common Areas and Facilities and all those parts and such of the facilities of the Development designated as common areas and facilities in any Sub-Deed;

  • Tenant Improvements Defined in Exhibit B, if any.

  • Outbuilding means and refer to structures such as (by way of example and not limitation) storage buildings, sheds, greenhouses, gazebos and other Roofed Structures.

  • Building Project means the aggregate combined parcel of land on a portion of which are the improvements of which the Premises form a part, with all the improvements thereon, said improvements being a part of the block and lot for tax purposes which are applicable to the aforesaid land.

  • Construction and Demolition Debris means and includes:

  • Building Common Areas means with respect to the Tower, the areas, facilities and amenities specified in Schedule [E] which are to be used and enjoyed in common with all the other Apartment Acquirers of the Units in the Building; and

  • Direct Construction Cost means the sum of the amounts that the Construction Manager actually and necessarily incurs for General Conditions Costs, Cost of the Work and Construction Manager’s Contingency during the Construction Phase as allowed by this Agreement. Direct Construction Cost does not include Pre-Construction Phase Fees or Construction Phase Fees.
