BMP definition

BMP of “best management practice” means both structural devices to store or treat stormwater runoff and non-structural programs which are designed to prevent or reduce the pollution of the waters of the State of Georgia.
BMP means, at the date of this Contract, BMP4 (Best Management Practices for Protection Against Somalia Based Piracy) or such updated version as may have been introduced at the date of the Instruction Notice.

BMP. (Best Management Practices) means a practice or a combination of practices that is determined by a governmental agency after problem assessment, examination of alternative practices, and appropriate public participation, to be the most effective, practicable (including technological, economic; and institutional considerations) means of preventing or reducing the amount of pollution generated by nonpoint sources to a level compatible with quality goals.
BMP means best management practice or practices, which are systems of practices, schedules of activities, maintenance procedures, and management measures that prevent or minimize adverse impacts to the environment.
BMP or “Best management practice” means a practice, procedure, structure or facility designed to prevent or minimize environmental damage, or to maintain or enhance environmental quality. BMPs include without limitation, treatment requirements, operating procedures, practices to control spillage or leaks, sludge or waste disposal, or providing for drainage from raw material storage.
BMP means Best Management Practices to improve storm water quality and prevent or detain storm water runoff.
