Broadcast Media definition

Broadcast Media means all or any methods (whether point-to-point or point-to- multipoint) of broadcasting, distributing, transmitting or otherwise communicating to the public, in each case by electronic, magnetic or electro-magnetic means, audio-visual material with or without data for reception and use on all or any devices, whether such methods or devices are now known or invented, devised or released in the future including via the Internet (including broadband), DSL, ADSL and Mobile Technology, analogue and/or digital terrestrial, cable and satellite systems, SMATV (Satellite Master Antenna Television) or MMDS (wireless cable);
Broadcast Media means such media which originate and propagate broadcast and prerecorded signals by terrestrial means or through satellite for radio or television and includes teleporting, provision of access to broadcast signals by channel providers and such other forms of broadcast media as the Authority may, with the approval of the Federal Government, by notification in the official Gazette, specify4;
Broadcast Media means analogue and digital distribution by terrestrial, cable and satellite broadcast media, and excludes all other distribution and media including video on demand services, all Electronic Media including transmissions referred to in section 6(1A) of the Act, CD Rom, CD-I, DVD and interactive media now known or invented hereafter;
