Building Floor Area definition

Building Floor Area means the total of the horizontal areas of a building, as calculated by using the exterior dimensions;

Building Floor Area means the square footage of the area included within the surrounding exterior walls of a building, including each floor of a multiple story building but not including any carport, walkway, garage, overhang, patio, enclosed patio, or similar area. The Building Floor Area will be determined by reference to City approved building permits or certificates of occupancy.

Building Floor Area means that certain improved portion of the Building intended to be leased to retail tenants, as depicted in Exhibit “A,” which portion may be altered, reduced, expanded or replaced from time to time.

Building Floor Area means the aggregate horizontal floor area measured from the exterior walls of all floors or storeys of a building excluding any floor area located totally below grade or within an uninhabitable attic. Building Floor Area means in the case of a non-residential building or structure or the non-residential portion of a mixed-use building or structure, the aggregate of the areas of each floor, whether above or below grade, measured between the exterior faces of the exterior walls of the building or structure or pliable membrane in the case of an air supported structure, or from the centre line of a common wall separating a non-residential and a residential use, and, for the purposes of this definition, the non-residential portion of a mixed-use building is deemed to include one-half of any area common to the residential and non- residential portions of such mixed-use building or structure;

Building Floor Area means and refers to the cumulative square footage of floor area, including without limitation, the ground floor area, of any Improvements, such as a building or structure, which have been constructed within the Permissible Building Area of a Parcel.
