Casual Member definition

Casual Member means a person who participates in any bowling event or competition held by or at a Club (or Clubs), the Centre, or Bowls NZ in accordance with Rule 9.2c and becomes a Member for the period of that event or competition and/or while present at the bowling venue. The rights and privileges of membership as a Casual Member shall be specified in the constitution, regulations and/or rules of the Club, Centre or Bowls NZ (whichever is holding the event or competition) and/or as set out in the written agreement with the Casual Member to participate in the event or competition. Such rule/agreement must comply with the Bowls NZ Regulations.
Casual Member means a person who participates in any bowling event or competition held by or at the Club who is not a Playing Member or a Non-Playing Member.
Casual Member means a member of the bargaining unit hired to replace an employee who is absent, or on an approved leave.

Examples of Casual Member in a sentence

  • A Casual Member may have their membership of the Club terminated by the Board if any fees are due and outstanding to the Club for a period of 7 Days or longer after the date of any notice requiring the Casual Member to pay the same has been given to the Casual Member by the Club.

  • The Board may refuse to accept any applicant for membership as a Casual Member on any lawful grounds.

  • A Casual Member may have their membership of the Club terminated by the Executive if any fees are due and outstanding to the Club for a period of 7 Days or longer after the date of any notice requiring the Casual Member to pay the same has been given to the Casual Member by the Club.

  • If a Casual Member owes any money to the Club then the Secretary may, in his or her discretion, suspend the Casual Member’s membership and that person shall not be entitled to exercise or enjoy any right, privilege, or advantage of membership until all such moneys have been paid, unless the Board determines otherwise in special circumstances.

  • Upon receipt of any decision to suspend or terminate a person’s membership of the Club as a Casual Member under Rule12.5 (Suspension & Termination by the Club) or Rule 12.6 (Suspension &Termination by the Centre or Bowls NZ), the Secretary shall take reasonable steps to inform the person concerned and to update the Club’s Register of Members.

  • If a Casual Member owes any money to the Club then the Secretary may, in his or her discretion, suspend the Casual Member’s membership and that person shall not be entitled to exercise or enjoy any right, privilege, or advantage of membership until all such moneys have been paid, unless the Executive determines otherwise in special circumstances.

  • The Secretary may refuse to accept any applicant for membership as a Casual Member on any lawful grounds.

  • L15.02 Where a Contract or Casual Member is successful in obtaining a permanent position, they will be placed on the seniority list.

More Definitions of Casual Member

Casual Member means a person who participates in any bowling event or competition held by or at the Club who is not a Playing Member, Limited Playing Member or a Non- Playing Member. A casual member may use the club facilities for a one-off bowling event/function or the specified limited period of the event/function.

With respect to an incapacitated individual owning an ownership interest in a wholesaler, the term means the person appointed by a court as the conservator of such individual's property. The term also includes the appointed and qualified personal representative and the testamentary trustee of a deceased individual owning an ownership interest in a wholesaler.

  • Additional Member has the meaning set forth in Section 12.02.

  • Related member means a person that, with respect to the taxpayer during all or any portion of the taxable year, is either a related entity, a component member as defined in section 1563(b) of the Internal Revenue Code, or a person to or from whom there is attribution of stock ownership in accordance with section 1563(e) of the Internal Revenue Code except, for purposes of determining whether a person is a related member under this division, "twenty per cent" shall be substituted for "5 percent" wherever "5 percent" appears in section 1563(e) of the Internal Revenue Code.

  • Potential Member means an individual who meets the eligibility requirements to enroll in the Oregon Health Plan but has not yet enrolled with a specific PHP or CCO.
