CFRA definition

CFRA means the California Family Rights Act of 1993, as amended.

Examples of CFRA in a sentence

  • An employee who does not otherwise meet the requirements for FMLA and/or CFRA (e.g., an employee who has not actually worked 1,250 hours during the applicable twelve (12) month rolling period) after the employee has received the MPS, shall not be eligible for continuation of the MPS in the subsequent year.

  • If an employee is required to report to jury duty during hours the employee is not scheduled to work (e.g., it is the employee’s normal day off, the employee is off work pursuant to an FMLA, CFRA, or workers’ compensation leave, the employee is not in a paid status for the pay period, etc.) the employee is not entitled to Jury Duty Leave for those hours.

  • If an employee is required to testify as a witness during hours the employee is not scheduled to work (e.g., it is the employee’s normal day off, the employee is off work pursuant to an FMLA, CFRA, or workers’ compensation leave, the employee is not in a paid status for the pay period, etc.) the employee is not entitled to Witness Leave during those hours.

  • The City shall comply with the provisions of the federal Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and the California Family Rights Act (CFRA).
