Chronic Failure definition

Chronic Failure shall refer to a component of a Vehicle or Aftermarket Component that repeatedly fails or becomes inoperable and has to be replaced more than once within the OEM rated life expectancy of the component.

  • Huron Valley Schools may fully or partially terminate this Contract for cause by notifying the Contractor if the Contractor: (i) breaches any of its material duties or obligations (including a Chronic Failure to meet any SLA); or (ii) fails to cure a breach within the time period specified in a notice of breach provided by Huron Valley Schools.

More Definitions of Chronic Failure

Chronic Failure shall refer to a component of a Chassis Cab or Upfitted Truck that repeatedly fails or becomes inoperable and has to be replaced more than once within the OEM rated life expectancy of the component. “Class (5, 6, or 7)” shall mean a truck classification that is determined based on the vehicle's GVWR. Class 5 trucks have a GVWR of 16,001 to 19,500 lbs., Class 6 trucks have a GVWR of 19,501 to 26,000 lbs., and Class 7 trucks have a GVWR of 26,001 to 33,000 lbs.
Chronic Failure. Shall refer to a component of a Transit Bus that repeatedly fails or becomes inoperable and has to be replaced more than once within the OEM rated life expectancy of the component.
Chronic Failure is defined in Exhibit C to this IRU Agreement.
