Community residential care facility definition

Community residential care facility means a facility which offers room and board and provides a degree of personal assistance for two or more persons eighteen years old or older.
Community residential care facility. ’ means a facility that provides room and board and such limited personal care for and supervision of resi- dents as the Secretary determines, in accord- ance with regulations prescribed under this sec- tion, are necessary for the health, safety, and welfare of residents.
Community residential care facility means a building or place or part of a building in which accommodation and nursing, supervisory and/or personal care is provided, or is made available for more than three persons with social health, legal, emotional, mental or physical disabilities or problems, and includes such facilities as are licensed by the Family Services Act, or by any other provincial legislation, but does not include any public or private hospital or sanatorium, or a jail, prison or reformatory, or a hospital.
