Examples of Core programs in a sentence
Core programs within WIOA are: WIOA Title I (Adult, Dislocated Worker and Youth formula programs) administered by Department of Labor (DOL); Adult Education and Literacy Act programs administered by the Department of Education (DoED); Wagner-Peyser Act employment services administered by DOL; and Rehabilitation Act Title I programs administered by DoED.
Category 1 – Core Services (largely supported by tax funds) Core programs, services and facilities are those the agency must provide and/or essential in order to capably govern and meet statutory requirements.

Out-of-Area Follow-up Care is also covered and services may be received through the BlueCard® or Blue Shield Global Core programs.
The commonwealth’s alignment of Core programs will include establishing effective career pathways that combine guidance, education, training, and support services that prepare individuals for careers.
Core programs include Iowa-Teach Math & Science teacher recruitment; Project Lead the Way expansion; Real World Externships for Teachers; and statewide professional development, outreach, and learner enrichment.
Core programs can be considered as services for which the greatest portion of your operating budget is allocated.
