Council Board Members definition

Council Board Members means the Directors of the Company elected by Council in accordance with the Standing Orders;
Council Board Members means the members of the Board of the Council of Engineers; “Board” means the Board of the Council of Engineers;
Council Board Members means the 4 members of the Company nominated by the Council pursuant to 30(a) to sit on the Board, who will be deemed to be members of the Company for the duration of their nomination;

More Definitions of Council Board Members

Council Board Members means the Board Members elected by Council in accordance with Order 53; “Deputy President” means the deputy president of the Company, nominated in accordance with Order 48; “Disciplinary Code” means the disciplinary code of the Company in force from time to time; “Disciplinary Panel” means the disciplinary panel of the Company for the time being; “Eligible Council Member” means every member of Council excluding (a) Past Presidents; (b) Honorary Life Vice-Presidents; (c) Vice-Presidents who had attained the age of 70 by 31st December in the preceding calendar year; (d) Honorary Life Councillors; and (e) Independent Councillors; “Finance Director” means the finance director of the Company, appointed in accordance with Rule 8 of the Rules; “Honorary Life Councillor” means an honorary life councillor of the Company as defined in Rule 16 of the Rules; “Honorary Life Vice-President” means an honorary life vice-president of the Company as defined in Rule 16 of the Rules; “IndependentBoard Members” means the independent non-executive Board Members nominated by the Board Nominations Committee and appointed by the Board in accordance with Rule 10 of the Rules, with 'independent' having the meaning given to it in the document entitled 'A Code for Sports Governance', as published by UK Sport and Sport England from time to time; “Independent Councillor” means a member of Council appointed in accordance with Rule 19 of the Rules; “International Representative” means the Eligible Council Member responsible for reporting to the Board on international matters; “JointCommittees” means the joint committees of the Company and the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club relating to The Championships; “Past President” means a past president of the Company or a past president of the Lawn Tennis Association; “Player Representative Councillors” means a member of Council selected from the ranks of ex-professional players and appointed in accordance with Rule 18 of the Rules; “President” means the president of the Company, nominated in accordance with Orders 44 to 47; “Retired Councillor Service Award” means an award given to retiring or resigning members of Council in light of special service in accordance with Order 89;
Council Board Members means the two persons nominated by the Council pursuant to Article 42(a) to sit on the Board, who will be deemed to be Members for the duration of their nomination;

Related to Council Board Members

  • Board Members means the Directors or Trustees of the governing body of the Fund, as the case may be.

  • Advisory Board Member means a member of an “Advisory Board” as defined in Section 2(a)(1) of the 1940 Act.

  • Member board means a state agency in a member state that acts in the sovereign interests of the state by protecting the public through licensure, regulation, and education of physicians as directed by the state government.

  • Regional Committee means the regional committee on school

  • Full Board means the authorized number of voting members of the Board of Education.

  • Committee Members means persons formally appointed by the Board to sit on or to chair specific committees.

  • CPF Board means the Central Provident Fund Board, a body corporate established under the Central Provident Fund Act (Cap. 36);

  • Technical Committee means the body established in accordance with article VII;

  • Committees means the committees formed under this Act or by the various functionaries of the University as the case may be and includes the Nomination Committee, the Finance Committee and such other committees;

  • Independent Board Committee means the independent board committee of the Company

  • Regional Board means a California regional water quality control board.

  • Transition Committee shall have the meaning set forth in Section 2.14.

  • Ethics Committee means an independent body established in a Member State in accordance with the law of that Member State and empowered to give opinions for the purposes of this Regulation, taking into account the views of laypersons, in particular patients or patients' organisations;
