Covered Plan definition

Covered Plan or “Plan” means those portions or components of the Avnet Insured Plan, which provide or pay the cost of Medical Care, including the:
Covered Plan means any "employee benefit plan" within the meaning of Section 3(3) of ERISA, whether or not subject to Title I of ERISA, including any U.S. governmental or non-U.S. pension plan, or any "plan" subject to Section 4975 of the Code.
Covered Plan means any one of the plans and agreements identified on Exhibit A, as the same may be amended from time to time in accordance with Sections 14.1 and 14.2 above.

Examples of Covered Plan in a sentence

  • The CONTRACTOR shall perform its scope of services hereunder in accordance with all plans and specifications, instructions, general and/or standard terms and conditions, any addenda issued and the “Request for Proposal” documents, where applicable, as well as complying with all applicable laws and regulations.

  • In this phase of the benefit, all plan spending is reported as Covered Plan Paid Amount.

  • With respect to any benefits provided to Employee hereunder which may be subject to the provisions of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, as amended (the "Covered Plans"), and notwithstanding Section 6.07(b) above, the adjudication of any claims under the Covered Plans shall be administered in accordance with the terms and conditions of such Covered Plan.

More Definitions of Covered Plan

Covered Plan means an employee benefit plan (other than a Multiemployer Plan) that is (or, in the event that any such plan has been terminated within five years after a transaction described in Section 4069 of ERISA, was) maintained for employees of the Borrowers or any ERISA Affiliate and covered by Title IV of ERISA or that Borrower or any of its ERISA Affiliates has or reasonably could be expected to have any liability for.

To the extent that certain benefits under any one or more of the plans and agreements listed on Exhibit A are secured by one or more “Prior Rabbi Trusts” (as defined in Section 15.11), those benefits, to the extent they are so secured, shall not be treated as benefits under a Covered Plan for purposes of this Trust Agreement (i.e. there is no intention to provide duplicate coverage for any particular benefits) and no benefits that are secured by one or more Prior Rabbi Trusts shall be paid by the Trustee pursuant to this Trust Agreement or taken into account for any purpose under this Trust Agreement.
Covered Plan means any of the following: the Hourly Plan, the Salaried Plan, the Bargaining Plan, the Non-Bargaining Plan, and RE&C Plan.
