Crisis Residence definition

Crisis Residence means a lot and / or building or part thereof established as a single housekeeping unit used for the short term accommodation of three or more persons exclusive of staff living under supervision, who normally would have a permanent residence elsewhere, who by reasons of their emotional, mental, social, or physical condition or legal status require a temporary living arrangement for their well being. For purposes of this definition, short term shall mean averaging one month or less in time.
Crisis Residence means a short-term residential program designed to provide residential and support services to persons with symptoms of mental illness who are at risk of or experiencing a psychiatric crisis.
Crisis Residence means Living Arrangement is coded as 11 (staffed residence) or 12(alcohol/drug treatment facility)."Institutional Setting" is not completed since this table is to represent the same client population as reported on table 2a.

  • Assisted living residence means a facility licensed by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services to provide apartment-style housing and congregate dining and to assure that assisted living services are available when needed for four or more adult persons unrelated to the proprietor and that offers units containing, at a minimum, one unfurnished room, a private bathroom, a kitchenette and a lockable door on the unit entrance.

  • Community organization means a nonprofit organization that has a demonstrated capacity to train, develop, and organize parents and community leaders into a constituency that will hold the school and the school district accountable for achieving high academic standards; in addition to organizations with a geographic focus, "community organization" includes general parent organizations, organizations of special education or bilingual education parents, and school employee unions (Section 10 of the Act).
