Day programs definition

Day programs means programs provided to persons with intellectual disability, related disabilities, head injuries, spinal cord injuries, or autism outside of their residences affording development, training, employment, or recreational opportunities as prescribed by the Department of Intellectual and Related Disabilities.

Examples of Day programs in a sentence

  • Employees in the Day Programs must notify their immediate Supervisor on the first day of absence due to illness one (1) hour prior to the commencement of their shift.

  • Child day program means a regularly operating service arrangement for children where, during the absence of a parent or guardian, a person or organization has agreed to assume responsibility for the supervision, protection, and well-being of a child under the age of 13 for less than a 24-hour period.
