Eligible Installer definition

Eligible Installer means contractors that are currently trading, are registered with TrustMark1 and compliant with “PAS 2035:2019 Retrofitting dwellings for improved energy efficiency. Specification and guidance.” RPs should ensure that their installers hold the appropriate certifications for the Eligible Measures that they are installing. PAS 2035:2019 requires that all energy efficiency measures within the scope of the PAS2030:2019 standards must be delivered by installers who are certified to this standard and all low-carbon heating measures must be installed by a Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) certified2 installer. We expect all contractors to work safely as we recover from the pandemic, following Covid-19 secure working practices.

Eligible Installer means installers that are currently trading, hold appropriate certification for the measures to be installed, and are registered with TrustMark1. Eligible Installers must have the appropriate certifications for the Eligible Measures that they are installing on behalf of the Grant Recipient. Eligible Measures installed under Warm Homes Local Grant must be compliant with the latest PAS 2035 documents (currently 2035:2023) to ensure installations are done to the highest quality and the risk of unintended consequences, such as condensation or damp, are minimised. PAS 2035:2023 requires that all energy performance measures must be installed by PAS 2030:2023 certified businesses, and low-carbon heating measures are installed by MCS certified installers.

  • Upon receipt of any such notice of termination, the Eligible Installer shall cease the performance of Work, shall make no further commitments with respect thereto and shall reduce insofar as possible the amount of outstanding commitments.

  • Review of Eligible Installer Applications may take up to 30 days.

  • Customer understands that neither NYSERDA nor the State of New York: (1) endorse any “Eligible Installer,” as NYSERDA uses that term, or (2) guaranty, warranty, or in any way represent or assume liability for any work proposed or carried out by an Eligible Installer.

  • If the Eligible Installer, Installation Company employees, or subcontractors do not meet all program terms and conditions or program requirements, the Eligible Installer will be subject to termination or suspension actions as described in Section 3(b) of Attachment G, Eligible Installer Agreement - Standard Terms and Conditions.

  • Once the above requirements have been satisfied and the installer has been notified in writing by NYSERDA of Eligible Installer status, an Eligible Installer may then submit applications for incentives for specific customers, under the terms and conditions described in PON 2439, and the Eligible Installer will be placed on NYSERDA’s list of Eligible Installers.

  • Neither NYSERDA nor the State of New York endorses any Eligible Installer, Installation Company, or Eligible Wind Turbine.
