ETF Adviser definition

ETF Adviser means the person appointed in the role of investment manager or investment adviser of the ETF.
ETF Adviser means, in respect of an ETF Share and the related ETF, any person appointed in the role of discretionary investment manager or non-discretionary investment adviser (including a non-discretionary investment adviser to a discretionary investment manager or to another non- discretionary investment adviser) to such ETF in respect of such ETF Share, or any successor;
ETF Adviser means, in respect of an Underlying ETF Share and the related ETF, any person so specified in the Applicable Final Terms or, if no person is so specified, any person appointed in the role of discretionary investment manager or non-discretionary investment adviser (including a non-discretionary investment adviser to a discretionary investment manager or to another non-discretionary investment adviser) for such ETF.

  • In its day-to-day operations and its investment strategy, an ETF will rely on the ETF Adviser, the investment advisor, the management company and/or on third parties providing services such as safekeeping of assets or acting as counterparty to derivatives or other instruments used by such ETF to employ its investment strategy.

  • Change of Investment Policy: means that the ETF Adviser effects or announces an intention to effect a change in the investment objectives, risk profile or investment guidelines of the ETF Issuer in any material respect or makes any other material change to the terms and conditions of the ETF Issuer such that the ETF cease to or is reasonably likely to cease to track the ETF Underlying Index.

  • These affiliated ETF Adviser fee reimbursements are not available for recoupment.

More Definitions of ETF Adviser

ETF Adviser means, with respect to an ETF, any person appointed in the role of discretionary investment manager or non-discretionary investment manager (including a non-discretionary investment manager to a discretionary investment manager or to another non-discretionary investment manager), as provided in the related ETF Documents;

Related to ETF Adviser

  • Sub-Adviser means an adviser to

  • portfolio adviser means a person or company that provides investment advice or portfolio management services under a contract with the investment fund or with the manager of the investment fund;

  • Independent Adviser means an independent financial institution of international repute or other independent financial adviser experienced in the international debt capital markets, in each case appointed by the Issuer at its own expense;

  • Sub-Advisor shall include the Sub-Advisor and/or any of its affiliates and the directors, officers and employees of the Sub-Advisor and/or any of its affiliates.

  • Advisor or “ADVISORS” means the Person or Persons, if any, appointed, employed or contracted with by the Company pursuant to Section 8.1 hereof and responsible for directing or performing the day-to-day business affairs of the Company, including any Person to whom the Advisor subcontracts all or substantially all of such functions.

  • Independent Manager shall refer to a member of the Board that meets the standards of an “independent director” set forth in NASDAQ Marketplace Rule 4200(a)(15) (on any successor rule) with respect the Company, the Administrator and their respective affiliates. In the event a Special Committee is formed, the term “Independent Manager” shall, as the context requires, refer generically to each Independent Manager.

  • Adviser means a party furnishing services to the Trust pursuant to any contract described in Article IV, Section 7(a) hereof;

  • Subadviser shall include any affiliates of the Subadviser performing services for the Corporation or the Fund contemplated hereby and the partners, shareholders, directors, officers and employees of the Subadviser and such affiliates.

  • Investment adviser representative means an individual employed by or associated with an investment adviser or federal covered investment adviser and who makes any recommendations or otherwise gives investment advice regarding securities, manages accounts or portfolios of clients, determines which recommendation or advice regarding securities should be given, provides investment advice or holds herself or himself out as providing investment advice, receives compensation to solicit, offer, or negotiate for the sale of or for selling investment advice, or supervises employees who perform any of the foregoing. The term does not include an individual who:

  • Legal Adviser means the properly qualified person appointed by the Trust to provide legal advice.

  • Independent Board Committee means the independent board committee of the Company

  • Investment Facilitators/Advisors means an individual, firm, corporate or other entity appointed by the Management Company to identify, solicit and assist investors in investing in the Scheme. The investment facilitator/advisor is not authorized to perform the Distribution Functions. The Management Company shall compensate the Investment Facilitators.

  • Independent Directors means the members of the Board of Directors who are not officers or employees of the Manager or any Person directly or indirectly controlling or controlled by the Manager, and who are otherwise “independent” in accordance with the NYSE’s corporate governance listing standards (or the rules of any other national securities exchange on which the Common Stock is listed).

  • OPSI Advisory Committee means the committee established under Tariff, Attachment M, section III.G.
