Advisor definition

Advisor or “ADVISORS” means the Person or Persons, if any, appointed, employed or contracted with by the Company pursuant to Section 8.1 hereof and responsible for directing or performing the day-to-day business affairs of the Company, including any Person to whom the Advisor subcontracts all or substantially all of such functions.

Advisor or “Advisors” means the Person or Persons, if any, appointed, employed or contracted with by the Partnership and responsible for directing or performing the day-to-day business affairs of the Partnership, including any Person to whom such Advisor subcontracts substantially all of such functions.

Advisor means a person who accompanies an Accused Student or an alleged victim to a hearing (or a proceeding pertaining to a report of sexual violence) for the limited purpose of providing advice and guidance to the student. An advisor may not directly address the Hearing Body, question witnesses, or otherwise actively participate in the hearing process (or other proceeding pertaining to a report of sexual violence).

Examples of Advisor in a sentence

At all times, the Advisor will not require or solicit prepayment of more than $500 six months or more in advance of rendering the services.
Termination will become effective 30 calendar days after receipt of such notice or on another date as agreed to by the Client and the Advisor.

Advisor means (i) KBS Capital Advisors LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, or (ii) any successor advisor to the Company. “Affiliate or Affiliated” An Affiliate of another Person includes any of the following: (i) any Person directly or indirectly controlling, controlled by, or under common control with such other Person; (ii) any Person directly or indirectly owning, controlling, or holding with the power to vote 10% or more of the outstanding voting securities of such other Person; (iii) any legal entity for which such Person acts as an executive officer, director, trustee, or general partner; (iv) any Person 10% or more of whose outstanding voting securities are directly or indirectly owned, controlled, or held, with power to vote, by such other Person; and (v) any executive officer, director, trustee, or general partner of such other Person. An entity shall not be deemed to control or be under common control with an Advisor-sponsored program unless (i) the entity owns 10% or more of the voting equity interests of such program or (ii) a majority of the board of directors (or equivalent governing body) of such program is composed of Affiliates of the entity.

Advisor means the Person or Persons, if any, appointed, employed or contracted with by the Company to be responsible for directing or performing the day-to-day business affairs of the Company, including any Person to whom the Advisor subcontracts substantially all such functions. The initial Advisor is New York City Advisors, LLC.

Advisor shall include the Advisor, its principals, officers, directors, stockholders and employees and the term "SBFM" shall include the Partnership.

Advisor means a person chosen by a party or appointed by the institution to accompany the party to meetings related to the resolution process, to advise the party on that process, and to conduct cross- examination for the party at the hearing, if any.
