Exempt Member definition

Exempt Member means a final salary member who was a member of the scheme on 30 September 2011 under its rules then in force and was aged 55 or over at 1 October 2011. An exempt member who ceases service and who becomes a member again shall remain an exempt member in respect of service both before ceasing service and after becoming a member again, if the period between ceasing service and becoming a member again is no more than six months. Such an exempt member shall not remain an exempt member, in respect of service after becoming a member again, if the period between ceasing service and becoming a member again is more than six months.
Exempt Member means a member in relation to whom a declaration is in force under Section 36;
Exempt Member means a Member who has applied to ASIC for the Scheme to comply with the requirements of one of the exemptions from Section 601ED of the Act contemplated by PS160 and whose application is granted by ASIC and does not include an Operator Member;

  • Unit Member means any certificated employee of the district who is included in the appropriate unit as defined in Article 2 and therefore covered by the terms and provisions of this Agreement.

The foregoing is intended to and shall supersede and replace the events of bankruptcy described in Sections 18-304(a) and (b) of the Act.

  • Management Members shall have the meaning set forth in the introductory paragraph of this Agreement.

  • Subject Member means an elected member or co-opted member of the County Council against whom a complaint has been made alleging a breach the Code of Conduct.

  • Special Member means, upon such person’s admission to the Company as a member of the Company pursuant to Section 5(c), a person acting as Independent Director, in such person’s capacity as a member of the Company. A Special Member shall only have the rights and duties expressly set forth in this Agreement.

  • Investor Limited Partner means any Limited Partner so designated at the time of its admission as a partner of the Partnership.

  • Partner Group means any legal entity that has direct or indirect Control over the Partner and only as long as that legal entity maintains direct or indirect Control (“Parent Companies”) as well as all Associated Companies of the Parent Companies.

  • Class B Holder means the Person in whose name a Class B Certificate is registered in the Certificate Register, except that, solely for the purpose of giving any consent, request or waiver pursuant to this Agreement, the interest evidenced by any Class B Certificate registered in the name of the Transferor, Servicer, or any Person actually known to an Authorized Officer of Trustee to be an Affiliate of the Transferor or Servicer, shall not be taken into account in determining whether the requisite percentage necessary to effect any such consent, request or waiver shall have been obtained.
