This process may take place at any time(s) during the cycle of evaluation, but typically takes place at mid-cycle. Formative Evaluation: An evaluation conducted at the end of Year 1 for an Administrator on a 2-year Self-Directed Growth plan which is used to arrive at a rating on progress towards attaining the goals set forth in the Educator Plan, performance on Standards and Indicators of Effective Administrative Leadership Practice, or both. Goal: A specific, actionable, and measurable area of improvement as set forth in an Educator Plan. A goal may pertain to any or all of the following: Administrator practice in relation to Performance Standards, Administrator practice in relation to indicators, or specified improvement in student learning, growth and achievement. Goals may be developed by individual Administrators, by the Evaluator, or by teams, departments, or groups of Administrators who have the same role.
