Examples of Extended services in a sentence
Extended services funded by DORS will last no longer than 4 years or until the individual turns age 25, or until alternate sources of extended support funding, or natural supports, are available, whichever comes first.
Extended services enable our school to provide: • high-quality learning opportunities either side of the school day• ways of intervening early when children are at risk of poor outcomes, e.g. by providing access to study support, parenting support or to more specialist services (such as health, social care or special educational needs services)• ways of increasing pupil engagement• ways of improving outcomes and narrowing gaps in outcomes between different groups of pupils.

NOTE: for 11-12 year all Extended services was cut 33% so only 40 Ext.
Extended services can be funded by DAIL/DVR/DBVI for youth with the most significant disabilities, for a period not to exceed four years.
