First violation definition

First violation as used in this section, means the first occurrence of a violation within a twelve month time period.
First violation. A written warning.
First violation means the first time the department imposes a penalty under this section, regardless of the number of individuals the private employer hired in violation of Subsection 63G-12-301(1).

Examples of First violation in a sentence

  • First violation: Disgorgement of any profit from the transaction, one month trading ban, and written warning that a future violation will result in a longer trading ban.

  • Penalties are: First violation -$50, second violation -$100, third and subsequent violations -$250.
