Futures and Options definition

Futures and Options as follows:
Futures and Options means for the purposes of these Terms of Business Forward Freight Agreements, fuel oil and gas derivatives, iron ore derivatives and carbon emissions derivatives.

Examples of Futures and Options in a sentence

  • Exemptions related to indexed positions in the over-the-counter market may include corresponding commodity index-based Futures and Options and/or individual commodity Futures and Options used as components in replicating an index.

  • The Scheme while investing in equities shall transact in exchange traded equity derivatives only and these instruments may take the form of Index Futures, Index Options, Futures and Options on individual equities/securities and such other derivative instruments as may be appropriate and permitted under the SEBI Regulations and guidelines from time to time.

  • There shall be established a Clearing House of the Exchange, which shall supervise the clearing of Futures and Options Contracts initiated, accepted or executed under MGEX Rules.

  • The most common amongst these are the Index Futures, Index Options, Stock Futures and Options on individual equities / securities.

  • Relevant Futures and Options Exchange:The Relevant Futures and Options Exchange means the futures and options exchange(s), on which futures and option contracts on the Underlying are primarily traded, as determined by the Calculation Agent.

  • Futures and Options Risk The Investment Manager may engage in various portfolio strategies on behalf of each Fund through the use of futures and options.

Related to Futures and Options

  • Options means any rights, warrants or options to subscribe for or purchase shares of Common Stock or Convertible Securities.

  • Futures Contract Option means an option with respect to a Futures Contract.

  • Related Futures or Options Exchange for the Index means an exchange or quotation system where trading has a material effect (as determined by the Calculation Agent) on the overall market for futures or options contracts relating to the Index.

  • Option Units means the Common Units that the Partnership will agree to issue upon an exercise of the Over-Allotment Option.

  • Rollover Options has the meaning provided in Subsection 3.1(h).

  • Option Warrants shall have the meaning ascribed to such term in Section 2.2(a).

  • Parent Options means options or other rights to purchase shares of Parent Common Stock issued by Parent.

  • Bidders from a country which shares a land border with India for the purpose of this Order means:

  • Company Stock Options shall have the meaning given to such term in Section 3.3(a) hereof.

  • Stock Index Futures Contract means a bilateral agreement pursuant to which the parties agree to take or make delivery of an amount of cash equal to a specified dollar amount times the difference between the value of a particular stock index at the close of the last business day of the contract and the price at which the futures contract is originally struck.

  • Company Options means any options to purchase shares of Company Common Stock, whether granted pursuant to any of the Company Stock Plans or otherwise.

  • Equity Equivalents means with respect to any Person any rights, warrants, options, convertible securities, exchangeable securities, indebtedness or other rights, in each case exercisable for or convertible or exchangeable into, directly or indirectly, Equity Interests of such Person or securities exercisable for or convertible or exchangeable into Equity Interests of such Person, whether at the time of issuance or upon the passage of time or the occurrence of some future event.

  • Vested Options means the Options that have vested in accordance with Section 2.2 of this Agreement.

  • Purchaser Common Stock means the common stock, par value $0.01 per share, of Purchaser.

  • Buyer Common Stock means the common stock, par value $0.01 per share, of Buyer.

  • Parent Equity Awards means Parent Options, Parent DSU Awards and Parent PSU Awards.

  • Stock Reload Option means any option granted under Section 6.3, below, as a result of the payment of the exercise price of a Stock Option and/or the withholding tax related thereto in the form of Stock owned by the Holder or the withholding of Stock by the Company.

  • Seller Common Stock means the common stock, par value $0.01 per share, of Seller.

  • Parent Equity Plans means all employee and director equity incentive plans of Parent and agreements for equity awards in respect of Parent Common Stock granted under the inducement grant exception.

  • Promised Options means promised but ungranted Options that are the greater of those (i) promised pursuant to agreements or understandings made prior to the execution of, or in connection with, the term sheet or letter of intent for the Equity Financing or Liquidity Event, as applicable (or the initial closing of the Equity Financing or consummation of the Liquidity Event, if there is no term sheet or letter of intent), (ii) in the case of an Equity Financing, treated as outstanding Options in the calculation of the Standard Preferred Share’s price per share, or (iii) in the case of a Liquidity Event, treated as outstanding Options in the calculation of the distribution of the Proceeds.

  • Offered Units shall have the meaning set forth in Section 11.1 hereof.

  • Option Plans has the meaning set forth in Section 2.6 below.

  • Option Stock shall have the meaning set forth in Section 2(a) hereof.

  • Company Stock Plans has the meaning set forth in Section 3.02(b).

  • Rights or Options means warrants, options or other rights to purchase or acquire shares of Common Stock or Convertible Securities.

  • Bidder from a country which shares a land border with India for the purpose of this Order means: -
