Game Rules means written rules governing the procedures and manner in which a lottery game is to be played, and identifying the necessary criteria or conditions for winning a prize.
Game Rules all games will be started at the scheduled time and will be preceded by a 5 minute warm-up period. Each team must have at least five skaters and a goalie or the game will be forfeited. The Captain of a team that is short players (but has at least five skaters and a goalie) may opt to forfeit the game. After a game is forfeited the Players from both teams will be merged to play a “Scrimmage Game”, the statistics from which will not be counted. In the event of bad weather, unless the City closes down JFK, the games will be played so please plan accordingly. Each game will consist of three 18 minute “stop time” periods, separated by a brief break. Teams will change ends at the end of each period. Time constraints mandate that each game terminate at a prescribed time which may result in having to play “running time” or to stop a game early, to be determined by the Timer. There is NO overtime provision for regular season games. Two points will be awarded to the winning team; one point will be awarded each team for a tie. All shifts for each line should end when there is a whistle after a maximum of one minute of shift-time. The home team puts out their lines first, in a 3rd, 2nd, 1st sequence and the visitors must match lines. Changes “on the fly” must be for an “in-kind” player. For example, if a C Forward gets off, the next lines’ C Forward replaces him.
