GDO definition

GDO. (Guaranteed Day Off) means up to two (2) consecutive guaranteed days off that any reserve (including Ready Reserve) may designate during the line adjustment period in accordance with Section 11.J. of the Agreement.
GDO means the GCC(EI) or an organization designated by the GCC(EI) pursuant to Chapter 28;
GDOGuaranteed Day Off as defined in XXX 2 Rostering Practices.

Examples of GDO in a sentence

  • Bidder shall not contact any other employee of GDO who are in any way related to this RFI process during this RFI process, unless otherwise specifically instructed.

  • Upon screening of your company details with Centre of Local Business Development (CLBD) portal, you will receive pre-qualification questionnaires from GDO.

  • Notify and accomplish an inspection of the blocking with the GDO in a timeframe sufficient to make blocking changes.

  • After completion of work, undock the vessel at a time and date agreed upon by the GDO and the Contractor.

  • Develop documentation of the inspection showing blocking, sighting marks on dock coping relative to block locations, spacing, offsets, heights, and shaping to the GDO at least 4 hours prior to flooding the dry dock.

  • Immediately prior to flooding the dry dock, perform a final inspection with the GDO to ensure that no loose trash, wood, equipment, and other extraneous matter could float up during flooding and interfere with/delay the docking operation.

  • An on-site survey conducted by the Government Docking Observer (GDO) may be required to validate the facility’s capability.

  • Electronic versions of the final docking report, in portable document format (PDF) and MSWord format are available from the GDO upon request.

  • Immediately prior to flooding the dry dock, perform an inspection with the GDO to ensure that no loose trash, wood, equipment, and other extraneous matter could float up during flooding and interfere with/delay the undocking operation.
