The Parties’ respective performances under this Intergovernmental Grant Agreement shall commence on the Grant Issuance Date and shall terminate on the Grant Expiration Date unless sooner terminated or further extended in accordance with the terms of this Intergovernmental Grant Agreement.
Upon request of Grantee, the State may, in its sole discretion, extend the term of this Intergovernmental Grant Agreement by providing Grantee with an updated Intergovernmental Grant Agreement showing the new Grant Expiration Date.
The State shall not be liable to pay or reimburse Grantee for any Work performed or expense incurred before the Grant Issuance Date or after the Grant Expiration Date; provided, however, that Work performed and expenses incurred by Grantee before the Grant Issuance Date that are chargeable to an active Federal Award may be submitted for reimbursement as permitted by the terms of the Federal Award.
