Healthcare Entity means a hospital, surgery center, or other entity that provides healthcare services and follows a formal peer review process for the purpose of furthering quality health care.
Healthcare Entity means an organization of any size that has authorized PMP users and chooses to connect its EMR system to the PMP Gateway and is the organization listed in the Integration Request Form submitted to the Department.

Healthcare Entity means a health care facility or agency that is required to obtain a license from the Department pursuant to section 25-3-101, C.R.S. Unless otherwise indicated, the term "healthcare entity "is synonymous with the terms "facility" or "agency" as used elsewhere in 6 CCR 1011-1, Standards for Hospitals and Health Facilities.
Healthcare Entity means any person or entity engaged, directly or indirectly, in a business that operates in the healthcare industry and any plan, endowment, association or other person or entity operated or managed by or affiliated with a healthcare provider (including, without limitation, health systems or health plans); provided that for purposes hereof, a person or entity shall not be deemed to be a Healthcare Entity as a result of direct or indirect passive equity investment or if it is an investment fund affiliated with any party to the Stockholders Agreement (as defined herein) or advised by any affiliated investment advisor of such party.

For the avoidance of doubt, (A) an entity that is otherwise a “Health Care Provider” under subsection (i) above shall not be considered a Healthcare Entity hereunder if it is also a Public Agency or Government Agency (each as defined in A&R Channel Partnership Agreement) and if the furnishing of health care services is not in furtherance of a primary purpose of such entity and (B) in no event shall any state or state agency, city or city agency, county or county agency or other municipal entity, any educational entity, including any medical school, or any correctional facility, including any medical clinic residing therein, any laboratory residing within such an entity, or any other Public Agency or Government Agency a primary purpose of which is not the delivery of health care services to or for the benefit of patients, be deemed a Healthcare Entity, unless such entity owns and operates a Health Center, in which case such Health Center shall be considered a Healthcare Entity (the “Public Agency Exception”).
