Index Basket definition

Index Basket means a portfolio of Index Securities as determined by the Manager to be substantially similar in composition and weighting to the Index, provided that such portfolio shall comprise only whole numbers of the Index Securities and no fractions or, if the Manager determines shall comprise only round lots and not any odd lots.
Index Basket means a portfolio of current Index Shares as determined by the Manager substantially similar in composition and weighting to the Hang Seng Index, provided that such portfolio shall comprise only whole numbers of shares and no fractions or, if the Manager determines, shall comprise only round lots and not any odd lots;
Index Basket means a basket composed of Indices in the relative proportions or numbers of Indices.

Examples of Index Basket in a sentence

  • Following each adjustment to the exercise, settlement, payment or other terms of options or futures contracts on any relevant Indices traded on any Related Exchange, the Calculation Agent will make the corresponding adjustments, if any, to one or more of: i) in respect of an Index Option Transaction or an Index Basket Option Transaction, the Strike Price, the Number of Options, the Knock-in Price and the Knock-out Price.

  • For each Creation Unit (of 1,000,000 units), the Fund receives an Index Basket consisting of constituent shares as determined by the Manager on a daily basis.

  • The Issuer may issue Securities whose amount of principal and/or interest payable depends on the level of one or more indices (Securities linked to an Index, Proprietary Index, Index Basket or Proprietary Index Basket).

  • Section 6.6 (b) of the Equity Derivatives Definitions is replaced in its entirety by the words: “If any Valuation Date is a Disrupted Day, in the case of an Index Basket Transaction, the Valuation Date for all the Indices shall be the first succeeding Scheduled Trading Day that is not a Disrupted Day, unless each of the five Scheduled Trading Days immediately following the Scheduled Valuation Date is a Disrupted Day.


More Definitions of Index Basket

Index Basket means a portfolio of Index Shares (including Future Index Shares) and other Authorised Investments, as determined by the Manager, and notified in writing to the Trustee, substantially similar in composition and weighting to the STI Provided That such portfolio shall comprise only whole numbers of Index Shares and/or Authorised Investments, and no fractions thereof or, if the Manager so determines (either generally or on any Dealing Day), shall comprise only round lots and not any odd lots, which may be exchanged for the number of Units in a Creation Unit or Redemption Unit (as the case may be) in the case of an in-kind creation or redemption (as the case may be), in accordance with the terms of the Deed;
Index Basket referred to above shall be equal to the sum of the "prices" stated in dollars per MMBtu of: (i) fifty percent (50%) of the arithmetic average of the index prices listed in each edition of Natural Gas Week, published during the applicable calendar month by Oil Daily Company in the table titled "Gas Price Report", under the column labeled "Delivered to Pipeline", "This Week" for Texas West Spot, and (ii) twenty five percent (25%) of the first publication in the applicable month of Inside F.E.R.
Index Basket means, subject to adjustment in accordance with these Index Linked Conditions, the basket of Indices specified in the applicable Final Terms.
