Individual Wastewater Disposal System definition

Individual Wastewater Disposal System means a septic tank, cesspool or similar self-contained receptacle or facility which collects and/or treats or otherwise disposes of Wastewater and which is not connected to the Wastewater Treatment System.
Individual Wastewater Disposal System. (“IWDS”) means a system designed and installed to treat and dispose of sewage from a single structure or group of structures using a septic tank, together with a leaching field or seepage pit.
Individual Wastewater Disposal System means any system of storing, treating or disposing of wastewater on the property where it originates or on adjacent or nearby property under the control of the user where the system is not connected to a city wastewater system.
