Academy means the academy named at the beginning of this Disciplinary Policy and Procedure and includes all sites upon which the academy undertaking is, from time to time, being carried out.
Modern biotechnology means the application of:
Indigenous Peoples Planning Framework or “IPPF” means the indigenous peoples planning framework for the Investment Program, including any update thereto, agreed between the Borrower and ADB and incorporated by reference in the FFA;
Nurse aide means any individual who is not a licensed health professional or volunteer providing nursing or nursing-related services to residents in a nursing facility.
Ombudsman means the Company Ombudsman of AllianceBernstein, or any of his/her staff members.
School nurse means a registered professional nurse with Maine Department of Education certification for school nursing.
Biotechnology means any technological application that uses biological systems, living organisms, or derivatives thereof, to make or modify products or processes for specific use.
Secretariat means the office constituted as per Sub-Clause (1) of Clause 6 of the Scheme.
Ombud ’ means each of the following:
the Academies means all the schools and educational institutions referred to in Article 4a and operated by the Academy Trust (and “Academy” shall mean any one of those schools or educational institutions);
Specialist medical practitioner means a specialist as defined in section 3 of the Health Insurance Act 1973.
Environmental and Social Management Framework or “ESMF” means an instrument satisfactory to the Association, prepared and adopted by the Recipient and dated February 5, 2010 outlining the process for management of the environmental and social aspects of the Project as the same may be amended from time to time with the Association’s prior written concurrence.
Information Technology Resources means agency budgetary resources, personnel, equipment, facilities, or services that are primarily used in the management, operation, acquisition, disposition, and transformation, or other activity related to the lifecycle of information technology; acquisitions or interagency agreements that include information technology and the services or equipment provided by such acquisitions or interagency agreements; but does not include grants to third parties which establish or support information technology not operated directly by the Federal Government. goods and services tax practitioner means any person who has been approved under section 48 to act as such practitioner;
Nurse Educator means a registered nurse with a post registration certificate, who has relevant experience or other qualifications, deemed appropriate by the employer who is appointed to a position of Nurse Educator.
municipal spatial development framework means a municipal spatial development framework adopted by the Municipality in terms of Chapter 5 of the Municipal Systems Act;
Ombudsperson means the Ombudsperson of British Columbia;
Research and development means (1) theoretical analysis, exploration, or experimentation; or (2) the extension of investigative findings and theories of a scientific or technical nature into practical application for experimental and demonstration purposes, including the experimental production and testing of models, devices, equipment, materials, and processes. Research and development does not include the internal or external administration of radiation or radioactive material to human beings.
Educator means a person licensed and certified by the State under 14 Del.C. Ch. 12 to engage in the practice of instruction, administration or other related professional support services in Delaware public schools, including charter schools, pursuant to rules and regulations promulgated by the Professional Standards Board and approved by the State Board of Education. The term 'educator' does not include substitute teachers.
Midwife means a midwife in good standing with the College of Midwives of Ontario;
Cosmetologist means an individual licensed under this chapter to practice cosmetology.
Dietitian or “licensed dietitian” means a person who maintains a license granted by the Iowa board of dietetic examiners.
Nurse-midwife means a registered nurse who has graduated from a program of study designed to prepare registered nurses for advanced practice as nurse-midwives.
spatial development framework means the Kouga Municipal Spatial Development Framework prepared and adopted in terms of sections 20 and 21 of the Act and Chapter 2 of this By-Law;
Architectural services means those services described as the "practice of architecture," as defined in K.S.A. 74-7003, and amendments thereto.
Radiopharmaceutical quality assurance means, but is not limited to, the performance of appropriate chemical, biological, and physical tests on potential radiopharmaceuticals and the interpretation of the resulting data to determine their suitability for use in humans and animals, including internal test assessment, authentication of product history, and the keeping of proper records.
