Interconnection Delay definition

Interconnection Delay means any delay for reasons outside Seller’s control in Connecting Transmission Owner’s completion of Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities, the System Upgrade Facilities or the System Deliverability Upgrades and approval for parallel operation for the Project, beyond [DATE]. For the avoidance of doubt, a delay in the foregoing shall be deemed to be an Interconnection Delay only if Seller has timely filed all required documents and paid all applicable fees and is not in default or otherwise in breach of the Interconnection Agreement, but the Project is not able to be interconnected by the date set forth in the Interconnection Agreement for reasons outside of Seller’s control.
Interconnection Delay has the meaning set forth in Section 3.9(c)(iii)(B).
Interconnection Delay means any action or inaction by the Interconnection Provider, ITO, RE or Reliability Coordinator that results in the inability of the Facility to interconnect to Interconnection Provider’s System including (a) the Interconnection Provider’s Interconnection Facilities are not complete and ready for the Facility to connect to Interconnection Provider’s System and thereafter make available Solar Energy and Renewable Energy Benefits at the Point of Interconnection, (b) Interconnection Provider’s breach of the Interconnection Agreement, and (c) the Interconnection Provider’s delays in responding to or attending inspections or other meetings intended for Interconnection Provider to providepermission to operateto the Facility.

Examples of Interconnection Delay in a sentence

  • In order to request a Permitting Delay or Interconnection Delay (individually and collectively, “Delay”), the requesting Party shall provide Notice of the requested Delay within three (3) Business Days of the date that Party becomes aware of, or reasonably should have become aware of, the circumstances giving rise for the applicable Delay.

  • Upon a showing that the delay was caused by Excusable Delay, then Seller shall be given ninety (90) days beyond the applicable deadline to remedy the failure by completing the outstanding milestone; provided that, upon a showing that the delay was caused by Excusable Interconnection Delay, then the deadline to complete the outstanding milestone shall be extended for a period equal to the duration of the Excusable Interconnection Delay plus ninety (90) days (in either case, the “Cure Period”).


More Definitions of Interconnection Delay

Interconnection Delay means the Participating TO’s Interconnection Facilities, Distribution Upgrades, and Network Upgrades (each, as defined in the Generator Interconnection Agreement) are not complete by October 31, 2026, for reasons not caused by Seller or any Affiliate of Seller.
Interconnection Delay means that the Interconnection Facilities or Network Upgrades are not complete and ready for the Facility to connect and sell Product at the Delivery Point or to obtain FCDS.
Interconnection Delay means any action or inaction by the Interconnection Provider that results in the inability of the Facility to interconnect to Interconnection Provider’s System including (a) that the Interconnection Provider’s Interconnection Facilities are not complete and ready for the Facility to connect to Interconnection Provider’s System and thereafter make available Solar Energy and Renewable Energy Benefits at the Point of Interconnection, (b) Interconnection Provider’s breach of the Interconnection Agreement, and (c) the Interconnection Provider’s delays in responding to or attending inspections or other meetings intended for Interconnection Provider to providepermission to operateto the Facility.
Interconnection Delay means a delay beyond the schedule set forth in the Interconnection Agreement or any delay in Connecting Transmission Owner’s completion of Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities. For the avoidance of doubt, a delay shall be deemed to be an Interconnection Delay if Seller has timely filed all required documents and paid all applicable fees and is not in default or otherwise in breach of the Interconnection Agreement, but the Project is not yet able to be interconnected for reasons outside of Seller’s control.
Interconnection Delay means the number of days between (a) August 14, 2021 and (b) a new Interconnection Availability Date if the same is delayed or extended by Interconnection Provider after the Effective Date; provided such delayed Interconnection Availability Date is not the result of Seller’s failure, in its capacity as interconnection customer, to perform under the Generation Interconnection Agreement or to achieve any of the LGIA Milestones. For example, if the Interconnection Availability Date is delayed by sixty (60) days by Interconnection Delay, the Guaranteed Commercial Operation Date will be extended by sixty (60) days, to February 28, 2023.

  • Interconnection Service means the physical and electrical interconnection of the Customer Facility with the Transmission System pursuant to the terms of Tariff, Part IV and Tariff, Part VI and the Interconnection Service Agreement entered into pursuant thereto by Interconnection Customer, the Interconnected Transmission Owner and Transmission Provider.

  • Interconnection Point means the point(s) of connection(s) at which the project is connected to the grid i.e. it shall be at 11 / 22 kV bus bar level of substation of MSEDCL.

  • Interconnection is As Defined in the Act.

  • Transmission Owner Interconnection Facilities means all Interconnection Facilities that are not Customer Interconnection Facilities and that, after the transfer under Tariff, Attachment P, Appendix 2, section 5.5 to the Interconnected Transmission Owner of title to any Transmission Owner Interconnection Facilities that the Interconnection Customer constructed, are owned, controlled, operated and maintained by the Interconnected Transmission Owner on the Interconnected Transmission Owner’s side of the Point of Interconnection identified in appendices to the Interconnection Service Agreement and to the Interconnection Construction Service Agreement, including any modifications, additions or upgrades made to such facilities and equipment, that are necessary to physically and electrically interconnect the Customer Facility with the Transmission System or interconnected distribution facilities. The “Transmission Provider” shall be the Office of the Interconnection for all purposes, provided that the Transmission Owners will have the responsibility for the following specified activities:

  • Interconnection Facilities means the Transmission Owner Interconnection Facilities and the Customer Interconnection Facilities.

  • Interconnection Service(s) means any Interconnection, Resale Services, 251(c)(3) UNEs, Collocation, functions, facilities, products or services offered under this Agreement.

  • Interconnection Activation Date means the date that the construction of the joint facility Interconnection arrangement has been completed, trunk groups have been established, joint trunk testing is completed and trunks have been mutually accepted by the Parties.

  • Electrical Interconnection Facilities means the equipment and facilities required to safely and reliably interconnect a Facility to the transmission system of the Transmitting Utility, including the collection system between each Bloom System, transformers and all switching, metering, communications, control and safety equipment, including the facilities described in any applicable Interconnection Agreement.

  • Interconnection Service Agreement means an agreement among the Transmission Provider, an Interconnection Customer and an Interconnected Transmission Owner regarding interconnection under Tariff, Part IV and Tariff, Part VI.

  • Interconnection Study means any of the studies defined in the CAISO Tariff or, if applicable, any distribution provider’s tariff that reflect the methodology and costs to interconnect the Project to the Participating Transmission Owner’s electric grid.

  • Surplus Interconnection Service means any unneeded portion of Interconnection Service established in an Interconnection Service Agreement, such that if Surplus Interconnection Service is utilized, the total amount of Interconnection Service at the Point of Interconnection would remain the same.

  • Interconnection Provider means PacifiCorp Transmission.

  • interconnected system means a number of transmission and distribution systems linked together by means of one or more interconnectors;

  • Interconnection Party means a Transmission Provider, Interconnection Customer, or the Interconnected Transmission Owner. Interconnection Parties shall mean all of them.

  • Interconnection Customer means a Generation Interconnection Customer and/or a Transmission Interconnection Customer.

  • Interconnection Feasibility Study means either a Generation Interconnection Feasibility Study or Transmission Interconnection Feasibility Study.

  • Interconnection equipment means a group of components or an integrated system owned and operated by the interconnection customer that connects an electric generator with a local electric power system, as that term is defined in Section 3.1.6.2 of IEEE Standard 1547, or with the electric distribution system. Interconnection equipment is all interface equipment including switchgear, protective devices, inverters or other interface devices. Interconnection equipment may be installed as part of an integrated equipment package that includes a generator or other electric source.

  • Interconnection Studies means the Interconnection Feasibility Study, the System Impact Study, and the Facilities Study described in Tariff, Part IV and Tariff, Part VI.

  • Generation Interconnection Facilities Study means a Facilities Study related to a Generation Interconnection Request.

  • Interconnection Construction Service Agreement means the agreement entered into by an Interconnection Customer, Interconnected Transmission Owner and the Transmission Provider pursuant to Tariff, Part VI, Subpart B and in the form set forth in Tariff, Attachment P, relating to construction of Attachment Facilities, Network Upgrades, and/or Local Upgrades and coordination of the construction and interconnection of an associated Customer Facility. A separate Interconnection Construction Service Agreement will be executed with each Transmission Owner that is responsible for construction of any Attachment Facilities, Network Upgrades, or Local Upgrades associated with interconnection of a Customer Facility.

  • Customer Interconnection Facilities means all facilities and equipment owned and/or controlled, operated and maintained by Interconnection Customer on Interconnection Customer’s side of the Point of Interconnection identified in the appropriate appendices to the Interconnection Service Agreement and to the Interconnection Construction Service Agreement, including any modifications, additions, or upgrades made to such facilities and equipment, that are necessary to physically and electrically interconnect the Customer Facility with the Transmission System.

  • INTER-CONNECTION POINT/ DELIVERY/ METERING POINT means a single point at 220kV or above, where the power from the Project(s) is injected into the identified ISTS Substation (including the dedicated transmission line connecting the Projects with the substation system) as specified in the RfS document. Metering shall be done at this interconnection point where the power is injected into. For interconnection with grid and metering, the WPDs shall abide by the relevant CERC/ SERC Regulations, Grid Code and Central Electricity Authority (Installation and Operation of Meters) Regulations, 2006 as amended and revised from time to time.

  • Transmission Interconnection Customer means an entity that submits an Interconnection Request to interconnect or add Merchant Transmission Facilities to the Transmission System or to increase the capacity of Merchant Transmission Facilities interconnected with the Transmission System in the PJM Region or an entity that submits an Upgrade Request for Merchant Network Upgrades (including accelerating the construction of any transmission enhancement or expansion, other than Merchant Transmission Facilities, that is included in the Regional Transmission Expansion Plan prepared pursuant to Operating Agreement, Schedule 6).

  • Interconnector means a transmission line which crosses or spans a border between Member States for the purpose of connecting the national transmission system of those Member States or a transmission line between a Member State and a third country up to the territory of the Member States or the territorial sea of that Member State;

  • Interconnection Agreement means the interconnection agreement entered into by Seller pursuant to which the Facility will be interconnected with the Transmission System, and pursuant to which Seller’s Interconnection Facilities and any other Interconnection Facilities will be constructed, operated and maintained during the Contract Term.

  • Interconnect means to connect an alarm system including an automatic dialing device to a telephone line, either directly or through a mechanical device that utilizes a telephone, for the purpose of using the telephone line to transmit a message upon the activation of the alarm system.
